After months of waiting, and stories about Jalen Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles returned to the NovaCare Complex, for their first training camp practice of 2024.

New additions like Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff and Quinyon Mitchell took the field on Wednesday, while rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean will miss three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Here are highlights from Day 1 of action.

39 players who are locks to make Colts’ 53-man roster

These 39 players are locks to make the Colts’ roster.

The Indianapolis Colts concluded their preseason last week and have begun trimming the roster down to 53 players ahead of Tuesday’s deadline at 4:00 p.m. ET.

The majority of household names wearing the horseshoe will be locks to make the roster, and a good portion of the second-string players should be considered in that group as well.

Being a roster lock, there can be no doubt a player will make the initial roster. If there’s even an inkling that a player could be cut or traded, they shouldn’t be considered a lock for the roster. Some players not featured on this list have a strong likelihood of making it, which is why they’d be featured in our final roster projection but not on the list of locks.

While we’re tracking the roster cuts leading up to Tuesday’s deadline, here is a look at 39 players who are locks to make the Colts’ initial roster:

43 players are locks for Patriots’ 53-man roster after preseason finale

Who are the roster locks for the Patriots after Friday’s preseason finale?

The New England Patriots closed out the 2023 preseason with an ugly 23-7 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Friday.

Now, it’s time for coach Bill Belichick to begin the arduous task of cutting the roster down to 53 players before the Aug. 29 deadline next Tuesday.

Throughout training camp and the preseason, the players have battled for an opportunity to cement their spot on the roster. Some came in as long-shot hopefuls, while others have been considered roster locks since the very beginning.

We’re taking a look at the latter in the aftermath of Friday’s preseason finale. These are the players that have shown enough to guarantee their spots on the team.

Here are the 43 players that should be considered locks to make the Patriots’ 53-man roster.

Training camp is all about opportunity, and a few players for Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers team have taken full advantage this summer.

Who has stepped up and all but locked in a 53-man roster spot for 2023?

These 27 players are locks to make the Broncos’ 53-man roster

We believe these 27 players are locks to make the Broncos’ 53-man roster this summer.

The Denver Broncos are set to begin training camp this week (schedule here) with a full 90-man offseason roster.

The Broncos will have to finalize a 53-man roster by Aug. 29 (here is our pre-camp 53-man roster prediction). Over the next month, Denver will have to part ways with 37 players (injuries and trades could change that number).

Of the 90 players currently on the roster, Broncos Wire views 27 of them as “locks” going into training camp this week. Denver might consider moving these players in a trade if a big offer is made, but the Broncos won’t release these players during roster cuts.
