On offense, starting quarterback Kenny Pickett was perfect. He led the Steelers on two more touchdown drives and went 4-for-4 for 86 passing yards. The touchdowns were courtesy of the run game. Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and Anthony McFarland all scored and the offensive line really stood out.
Defensively, it was business as usual. This is a deep unit and it doesn’t seem to matter which grouping is on the field, they are going to stuff the run up front, rush the passer and harass pass catchers. T.J. Watt and Nick Herbig along with Elandon Roberts, Quincy Roche and Tody Ndukwe all recorded sacks
Playing on Thursday means the Steelers have 17 days to prepare for their Week One game against the San Francisco 49ers. Pittsburgh went 3-0 in the preseason.

Pickett played two drives against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night and when he took off his shoulder pads, he could say he was perfect on five drives.
Pickett led the Steelers offense to five touchdowns on five preseason drives. His passing was a huge part of that and Pickett has the numbers to back it up. Pickett went 13-for-15 for 199 yards, 2 touchdowns and zero interceptions. That is good for 13.3 yards per attempt and a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating.
The Steelers front office has worked hard this offseason to build a roster to compete in the crowded AFC North. If those five drives are any indication, the Steelers are ready for the season to start.

Pickens makes the extraordinary look ordinary. The connection was for 35 yards but the way Pickens just goes up in coverage and plucks the ball out of the sky, you forget the amount of work that goes into a play like this.
