Patrick Queen among 7 Ravens to to participate in these Pro Bowl events

Kevin Zeitler and Roquan Smith are among Baltimore Ravens set to participate in the Pro Bowl Skills showdown on Thursday night and the Flag Football game on Sunday

The Ravens were the NFL’s best team during the regular season, and the AFC power was properly represented on the Pro Bowl team, with seven players named.

Baltimore’s Pro Bowlers were quarterback Lamar Jackson, linebacker Roquan Smith, safety Kyle Hamilton, defensive tackle Justin Madubuike, center Tyler Linderbaum, linebacker Patrick Queen, and kicker Justin Tucker.

It’s the first time for Hamilton, Madubuike, Queen, and Linderbaum – all players General Manager Eric DeCosta drafted.

The Pro Bowl Games get underway Thursday, and every player selected except Lamar Jackson will be participating in Pro Bowl skills challenges.

The roster for the NFL Pro Bowl has been finalized with seven Baltimore Ravens players making the final cut. One notable missing name was quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson seemingly opted out of playing in the Pro Bowl after initially being voted in. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew will take Jackson’s place in the Pro Bowl.

Jackson’s incredible season netted him first-team All-Pro honors for the second time in his career and a likely second MVP award. Given the competitor Jackson is, though, his final game of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs is sure to leave a sour taste in his mouth for the rest of the offseason as he prepares for another shot at the elusive Lombardi Trophy. Jackson had a pair of turnovers in the AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs, including a backbreaking interception in the endzone when he tried to fit a pass into triple coverage to tight end Isaiah Likely.

Individual awards seem to mean very little to the accomplished quarterback now so it does not come as a surprise that he will not be playing in this year’s Pro Bowl.

Ravens OL Kevin Zeitler named to the Pro Bowl for first time in his career

Baltimore Ravens offensive guard Kevin Zeitler has been named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad for the first time in his career

It shouldn’t have to be as an alternate, but Ravens offensive guard Kevin Zeitler will make the trip to his first Pro Bowl after being announced as Joe Thuney’s replacement on the AFC squad.

Zeitler finished second among offensive guards in the initial fan voting, and he was among the highest rated guards in 2023 per PFF.
