This Chicago Bulls team makes no sense this season

What sort of Bulls squad will we see take the court for the NBA’s 2024 play-in tournament?

This Chicago Bulls team makes no sense this season. The inconsistent play makes for a dizzying ball club in terms of keeping track of the kind of teams they tend to beat, and those they tend to lose to in their more recent contests this campaign.

With wins over the mighty Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, and Indiana Pacers (and twice, at that) since the start of the month of March, you might think the Bulls are trending in the right direction as the postseason draws near. But Chicago has also dropped games to the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and even the lowly Washington Wizards in recent weeks.

Appearing to be as confused about their identity as a ball club as we are, what sort of Bulls squad will we see take the court for the NBA’s 2024 play-in tournament?

The folks behind the “Bulls Central” YouTube channel took a closer look at these concerning trends on a recent episode of their show. Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about Chicago’s uneven play of late.

These 18 Falcons players are about to be free agents

These 18 Falcons players will be free agents starting on Wednesday, March 13

The NFL’s 2024 league year begins in a few days and teams have already started trimming their rosters to free up salary cap space. The Atlanta Falcons released tight end Jonnu Smith and re-signed three others, bringing their cap total to roughly $37.2 million.

Any player without a contract on March 13 will become a free agent, although teams can start negotiating contracts on March 11. The Falcons have 18 players set to hit free agency, including defensive lineman Calais Campbell and cornerback Jeff Okudah.

Here’s a rundown of all 18 free agents (each player is labeled as unrestricted (UFA), restricted (RFA), or exclusive rights (ERFA):

NBA All-Star rosters: Here is the full list for the 2024 game (with injury replacements)

This is who will represent the West and the East in Indianapolis.

The 2024 NBA All-Star Game will return to the conference rivalry format and we now know which players will represent the East and West.

Although we already knew the starters after they were announced late last month, seven more players from each conference got the call that they will head to Indianapolis for the game on Feb. 18 as well.

The captains (LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo) remain the same as last year but this year, it is just an honorary distinction. They are denoted below in bold.

Q&A: Tyrese Haliburton on entering All-Star Weekend in an Indy car, the 3-point contest and more

“All of these people are here for All-Star Weekend, and I’m the Hoosier representative,” Tyrese Haliburton told For The Win.

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton is one of the busiest individuals at the NBA’s 2024 All-Star Weekend.

Haliburton, who led Eastern Conference guards in All-Star votes from fans as well as media and players, earned an appearance as the starting point guard in the East for the All-Star Game.

The 23-year-old represents the Pacers, the hosts of NBA All-Star Weekend for the first time since 1985. He is just the fourth player in franchise history to ever make an appearance in the starting lineup of the All-Star Game. For the second year in a row, Haliburton will also participate in the Starry 3-point Contest.

Haliburton took some time to catch up with For The Win to discuss showing up to All-Star Weekend in an Indy car, the love he received from Larry Bird and Reggie Miller and more.

2024 WNBA Free Agency Tracker: Where stars like Breanna Stewart and Nneka Ogwumike will play next season

Breanna Stewart is staying in New York, but other names like Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Jordin Canada are with new teams.

WNBA Free Agency is off to a running start. Things got going very early with tons of deals being agreed to. However, there are still so many unknowns, including a new wrinkle: whether or not Elena Delle Donne will play this season.

Free agency for the league started January 21, and though deals could not be signed until February 1, there have been lots of head-turning moves. With the New York Liberty officially giving Breanna Stewart a core designation, all eyes turned to other big names like Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Candace Parker.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

However, a new reality is setting in with another big name. Elena Delle Donne and the Washington Mystics’ future is legitimately up in the air, and it’s not clear what will happen for the 2024 season.

As rumors turn to confirmations, here are the top WNBA free agency moves thus far:

**This player has a “core” designation. A “core” designation allows a team to designate a player as essential to the team’s success and identity. Any player with this label no longer has an unrestricted free agent status, giving the team exclusive rights to negotiate a new contract. Additionally, per the WNBA CBA, the player will be offered a one-year super-max contract at minimum, but a longer deal can be made with the team.

Oklahoma Sooners Softball full 2024 schedule

Oklahoma Sooners softball 2024 schedule.

2023 was a historic season for the Oklahoma Sooners softball program. From breaking the regular season attendance record in a game with Texas to their national title three-peat and win streak, the Sooners were awe-inspiring a season ago.

The three-time defending national champion Sooners have a chance to accomplish something that hasn’t been done before: win four consecutive national championships.

The Oklahoma Sooners are currently riding a 57-game winning streak.

Though they suffered critical losses to the transfer portal ([autotag]Jordy Bahl[/autotag]) and graduation ([autotag]Grace Lyons[/autotag]), they’ll enter the season as the overwhelming favorites once again. Especially after retooling with additions like [autotag]Kelly Maxwell[/autotag] through the transfer portal and a freshmen class that could contribute immediately.

Oklahoma will move into a new home at Love’s Field. The Sooners’ new home increases their capacity for home games from 1,378 to 4,200 seats.

Where is the 2025 Super Bowl?

Where will next year’s Super Bowl take place?

While all of our focus is on the 2024 Super Bowl right now, it’s fair to ask where next year’s big game will be.

If you’re hoping to see your team play for a Super Bowl in 2025, they’d travel down to the Big Easy to do so.

Next year’s Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, home of the Saints.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

This is the eighth Super Bowl played in the Superdome over its multi-decade existence. The last Super Bowl held in New Orleans was in 2013.

As we all celebrate this year’s big game in Las Vegas, we’ll have more football, Bourbon Street, jazz and crawfish boils to look forward to next year.

You have one job, Usher. Don’t let us down.

Usher is performing at the Super Bowl 58 halftime show, and fans everywhere are here for it. (It’s us. We’re the fans).

The man has been gracing the public’s ears with his silky smooth voice for more than 30 years — YES, THREE DECADES — and is still going. In addition to his decorated career, he achieved a longtime dream of having a residency in Las Vegas in 2021. His second Vegas residency began in 2022, lasted 17 months and had 100 sold-out shows. It seemingly helped fans realize that Usher’s ability to entertain was TOP-TIER and that he could do shows on a larger scale. (He’s not called “King of R&B” for nothing.)

Usher is back in Vegas for the 2024 Super Bowl, and we’ve made a list of 14 songs that we think he should play. Here’s what we want to see:
