BetMGM renews partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers as an Official Sports Betting Partner

BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, announced a multi-year extension with the Philadelphia 76ers, where BetMGM will continue as an Official Sports Betting Partner of the team.

SportsbookWire reported the original deal between the two in December, 2020.

The renewal of the deal includes the addition of BetMGM VIP fan experiences and watch parties and increased courtside signage at Wells Fargo Center. The signage will be featured throughout the arena, including on the video board, courtside LEDs and the grandstand. Customers of BetMGM in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will have exclusive access to a 50 percent live odds boost token to use during 76ers games.

“This extension allows us to further enhance the gameday experience for fans, in the arena and at home,” said Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer, BetMGM. “We look forward to continuing our rewarding relationship with the 76ers this season and beyond.”

The 76ers will also feature BetMGM content on their social platforms and e-mail campaigns.

Tipico Sportsbook partners with Columbus Crew

Tipico Sportsbook becomes the official and exclusive sports betting partner of the Columbus Crew.

As Ohio inches closer to making legal sports betting a reality, sportsbook operators and teams have begun partnerships. The Columbus Crew announced a long-term agreement with Tipico Sportsbook, a global sportsbook operator who is already active in New Jersey and Colorado — and soon, Iowa. Tipico launches online casino in New Jersey

Tipico launches online iGaming casino in New Jersey.

The online casino space has added a new player in the United States. Tipico, a global sportsbook operator, has launched its first U.S.-based online casino in New Jersey, where consumers in the New Jersey market can participate in the iGaming experience. Tipico has partnered with Ocean Casino Resort for New Jersey licensing.

Tipico Sportsbook partners with Caesars Entertainment

Looking into Tipico Sportsbook’s partnership with Caesars Entertainment.

Tipico Sportsbook announced Monday a 10-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment. The deal includes a 10-year renewal term and provides Tipico with immediate access to launch an online sportsbook in Indiana and Iowa, pending licensing and approvals. Tipico would then have a path to expand into additional states in the future.

In Indiana, Tipico will be partnering with Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. The Iowa partner of Tipico will be Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf. Tipico will also gain certain rights to iGaming market access, pending legislative approval in each state.

“We are excited to announce Tipico’s multi-state market access partnership with Caesars Entertainment, which marks an important step as we continue to expand our U.S. footprint,” said Adrian Vella, CEO, Tipico U.S. “We look forward to establishing our brand presence in the mid-west, and introducing our highly scalable, proprietary multi-state sports betting experience to players in Indiana and Iowa.”

Tipico, a global sportsbook operator and the German market leader, is currently live in Colorado and New Jersey with seamless cross-state experience in a single mobile app. The sportsbook announced a five-year partnership with Gannett in July 2021, and announced last week its intention to open a technology hub in Denver, Col.

Tipico’s mobile sportsbook is expected to be launched in Iowa during Q4 of 2021 and in Indiana in Q1 of 2022, pending regulator approval. The sportsbook’s online casino product will launch in New Jersey this fall. Additional state market access is expected before the end of the year.

Tipico Sportsbook announces Colorado as technology hub

Tipico Sportsbook and the Colorado Office of Economic Development announced Tuesday that Tipico has chosen Colorado as the home of its new technology hub. The sportsbook, one of the largest sports betting companies in the world, expects as many as 441 jobs to be brought to the area over the next eight years.

“We are thrilled to announce, in partnership with Governor (Jared) Polis, our intention to establish a Tipico Sportsbook technology hub in Denver,” said Adrian Vella, Tipico US Chief Executive Officer. “From the world-class universities and collaborative technology community, down to the well-documented high quality of life in the state, every metric during our nation-wide search pointed us right to Colorado. Now that football season is here and our sportsbook is live in the state, we’re confident that the deep pool of technology talent in Colorado will help us take the Tipico brand to the next level in the U.S.”

The added jobs are expected to have an average wage exceeding $96,000. Positions will range from technology roles to marketing, finance and customer service.

Online sports betting went into effect in Colorado May 1, 2020. Early regulation hs having a positive economic effect with approximately $65,962,159 in tax revenue in the first year of operation.

Tipico Sportsbook goes live in Colorado

Tipico Sportsbook, the exclusive sports betting and iGaming provider for USA TODAY parent company Gannett, is now operating in Colorado.

The Colorado launch marks the company’s second U.S. state after it went live in New Jersey in December. Tipico Sportsbook was able to expand into Colorado through support from Century Casinos, Inc., a Colorado-based gaming company.

Gannett announces exclusive sports betting partnership with Tipico Sportsbook

Gannett announces exclusive sports betting and iGaming partnership with Tipico Sportsbook. We break down the agreement.

Gannett Co., the parent company of USA TODAY, has finalized an exclusive multiyear deal with Tipico USA Technology to provide an extensive variety of new sports betting content throughout the USA TODAY Network.

As part of the five-year, $90 million deal, Tipico will become the exclusive sports betting and iGaming provider for Gannett, and will integrate its odds, props, free-to-play games and betting trends throughout the network and more than 200 affiliated properties, including For The Win, Golfweek and MMA Junkie.

“Our highly engaged audience of more than 46 million sports fans crave analysis, betting insights, odds and unique features which we will provide with our Tipico alliance,” said Michael Reed, Gannett chairman and chief executive officer. “Tipico adds incredible expertise from their European operations and next generation product capabilities, which offer our sports enthusiasts and local consumers a way to become even more invested in the games and sports they care about.”

Tipico is the leading sports betting provider in Germany and one of the top sports betting companies worldwide. As part of the agreement announced Tuesday, Tipico will co-brand all NFL Wire team sites and For The Win, including a re-launch of the Bets subsection to “Bet For The Win, powered by Tipico Sportsbook.” It will also provide odds pages throughout the USA TODAY Network, both in print and online.

Branded sports betting content is expected to debut in August to complement the start of the NFL season. In New Jersey and Colorado, Tipico’s sports betting operations will be live this fall, allowing readers to place bets through Tipico Sportsbook.

BetMGM named first official betting operator of the LPGA

Looking at BetMGM Sportsbook’s deal to become the first official betting operator of the LPGA.

The LPGA announced a multi-year agreement with BetMGM to become the tour’s first official betting operator and partner. LPGA odds will be featured on BetMGM’s betting menu alongside those of the PGA Tour, the European Tour and other leagues and events.

Detroit Tigers and BetMGM partner on multi-year deal

The Detroit Tigers announce multi-year partnership with BetMGM Sportsbook

Partnerships between sports franchises and sportsbooks continued Wednesday, as the Detroit Tigers and BetMGM, a leading sports betting and digital gaming operator, announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement.

“We’re excited to expand our relationship with BetMGM to feature the Detroit Tigers and Comerica Park,” said Peter Kent, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships via a release. “Our fans will enjoy the enhancements this partnership provides to their experience, both at the ballpark and in rooting on the Tigers from home.”

BetMGM Sportsbook went online in Michigan at the start of the year, offering legal, online sports wagering within the state. Their app is available for download on both iOS and Android, while also accessible via desktop.
