Costa Rica vs. Honduras: How to watch Copa America playoff, live stream

Costa Rica will face Honduras on Saturday with a spot at the Copa América on the line.

The winner of the one-game playoff at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas will advance to the Copa América this summer, while the loser is eliminated.

Honduras nearly qualified directly to the Copa América, but fell to Mexico on penalties in a wild Nations League quarterfinal tie in November.

Costa Rica did not come nearly as close in its quarterfinal, as it was hammered 6-1 on aggregate by Panama.

Canada vs. Trinidad & Tobago: How to watch Copa America playoff, live stream

The winner moves to the Copa America, while the loser misses out on the huge tournament

Amid a serious downturn in fortunes, Canada faces its biggest match since the 2022 World Cup on Saturday when it takes on Trinidad & Tobago.

The winner of the one-game playoff at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas will advance to the Copa América this summer, while the loser is eliminated.

Canada failed to qualify directly to the Copa América when it collapsed against Jamaica in the Nations League quarterfinal in November. The Reds won the away leg 2-1 only to fall 3-2 at home in the second leg, with the Reggae Boyz advancing via away goals after a 4-4 aggregate scoreline.

Trinidad & Tobago, meanwhile, fell into the one-off playoff after losing its quarterfinal series against the U.S. by a 4-2 aggregate score.

[afflinkbutton text=”Watch Canada vs. Trinidad & Tobago on Paramount Plus” link=”https://paramountplus.qflm.net/217Nxg”]

Making the Copa América would be a major boost for Canada amid a tumultuous period that has seen head coach John Herdman depart, a poor Gold Cup last summer, and ongoing turmoil at the Canadian federation.

The winner of Saturday’s match will go into Group A of the Copa América alongside Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

Copa America Final: Brazil vs. Argentina odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Copa America Final odds and lines between Brazil and Argentina, with picks, tips and predictions..

The Copa America Final is set, and it will be a showdown between the two best South American teams in Argentina and Brazil. The match will kick off Saturday at 8 p.m. ET and will be played at Estadio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Below, we preview the Brazil vs. Argentina odds and lines, and make our best Copa America picks and predictions.

Brazil is coming off what seemed like an easy 1-0 win over Peru. It has outscored the opposition 12-2 in this tournament and remains the favorite to win.

Third overall by FIFA World Rankings, Brazil will be taking on eighth-ranked Argentina in the Copa America Final.

The Lionel Messi-led side defeated Colombia in penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw at the end of 90 minutes. Messi is the captain, but for Argentina to stand a chance, F Sergio Agüero must also get involved.

Argentina is really the only nation in South America that can even come close to Brazil in terms of talent.

Prediction

Brazil 2, Argentina 1

Money line (ML)

BET on BRAZIL (+110) as it has the more talented roster and will be playing at home. As we’ve seen in both Euro 2020 and Copa America, being at home can be a major advantage.

Ds Marquinhos and Thiago Silva should be able to tame one of the world’s best players in Messi. The 34-year-old isn’t as explosive as he once was, although he’ll certainly still have an impact on the game.

With Casemiro and Fred holding down the midfield, there’s just too much talent on this Brazilian team to bet this any other way. From front to back, Brazil is a deep side very few teams can compete with.

Argentina may struggle to even find its footing against the Brazilian dominance. A plus-money bet on Brazil is an easy one to place.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 2.5 (+150) on the alternate line, because Brazil should be coming out on a mission. If the home side pushes the pace and gets a first-half goal, Messi could break through on the offensive end.

Either way, there’s too much star power on both sides to bet against goals.

Messi and Brazil F Neymar on the pitch means opportunities will be created. Brazil’s defense has yet to be challenged, so understanding it has given up only a couple of goals is relevant considering the best team it has played was Colombia.

Argentina has a dynamic attacking roster and should bury at least 1 on a Brazilian defense that has looked flawed at times. With its strength in the attack, Argentina may also struggle to defend the likes of Neymar and F Everton Soares.

Expect and hope for many goals in this one.

Copa America: Colombia vs. Peru odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Friday’s Colombia vs. Peru odds and lines, with Copa America betting picks, tips and predictions.

In Friday’s third-place match of Copa America, Colombia takes on Peru. The match is set for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff at Estadio Nacional in Brasilia, Brazil. Below, we preview the Colombia vs. Peru odds and lines, and make our best Copa America picks and predictions.

Colombia is coming off a disappointing loss to Argentina. It hung with the more talented side through 90 minutes but lost 3-2 in penalty kicks. It has been an impressive run.

As for Peru, it’s coming off a 1-0 loss to Brazil, the favorite to win the tournament. That loss was in a much better performance than it put forth in the 4-goal defeat it suffered against Brazil in the Group Stage.

Colombia vs. Peru: Odds, picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Colombia -115 (bet $115 to win $100) | Peru +325 (bet $100 to win $325) | Draw +230
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +100 | U: -135)

Prediction

Colombia 2, Peru 1

Money line (ML)

BET on COLOMBIA (-115) because it’s the much better side.

While Peru hung with Brazil, it never felt as though Brazil was going to lose or even concede a goal. The favorite should have won 3-0 but managed to win with just a single tally.

As for Colombia, it played a tight match with Argentina. With Juventus MF Juan Cuadrado and Atalanta F Duván Zapata leading the way, it should out-class Peru.

As long as Colombia plays its top lineup, it should come out on top in 90 minutes.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 2.5 (+100) as the best value in this match.

Peru didn’t get on the board against Brazil, but that was against one of the best sides in the world after a strong run in the tournament.

The Over hit in four of Peru’s six matches thus far; in the two games which cashed the Under, one was against Brazil and the other was a game Peru won 1-0 against Venezuela. Peru beat Colombia 2-1 earlier in this tournament, with an own goal and a penalty boosting the total.

Colombia scored in four of its six games, including against Brazil Wednesday. It has a few talented strikers who should find the back of the net Friday.

Expect at least 3 goals to be scored, just like the last time these two teams met.

Copa America: Argentina vs. Colombia odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Tuesday’s Argentina vs. Colombia odds and lines, with Copa America betting picks, tips and predictions.

In the second of two semifinals matches of Copa America, Lionel Messi and Argentina face Colombia Tuesday with a 9 p.m. ET kickoff at Estádio Nacional in Brasilia, Brazil. Below, we preview the Argentina vs. Colombia odds and lines and make our best Copa America picks and predictions.

One of the favorites coming into the tournament, Argentina just defeated Ecuador 3-0 to claim its semifinals spot. It had 3 wins and a draw in the Group Stage.

No. 8 in FIFA World Rankings, Argentina draws the third-best side left in the tournament in Colombia. It’s 15th in the FIFA rankings.

Colombia had just one win with two losses and a draw in the Group Stage. It then barely survived Uruguay in the quarterfinals, defeating the Luis Suárez-led side 4-2 in penalties. Colombia will need its luck to continue to get through arguably the world’s best player.

Argentina vs. Colombia: Odds, picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Argentina -120 (bet $120 to win $100) | Colombia +400 (bet $400 to win $100) | Draw +230
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +130 | U: -175)

Place your legal, online 2021 Copa America bets in CO, IA, IN, MI, NJ, PA, TN, VA, WV and Washington D.C., at BetMGM. Risk-free first bet! Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Prediction

Argentina 2, Colombia 1

Money line (ML)

BET on ARGENTINA (-120) as the best bet on the money line. Argentina is, by far, the more skilled side.

It’s more than just Messi. Twenty-three-year-old winger Nicolás González could be the future of the country’s program with F Sergio Aguero potentially coming off the bench.

Argentina’s defense is also solid with experienced D Nicolás Otamendi leading the backline.

Now, Colombia has some talent on its side as well, but unless the Atalanta duo up top can sustain some pressure, I’d expect Argentina to win in regulation time.

Colombia hasn’t looked great this tournament and should fold against an experienced and high-quality opponent. Bet the favorite in this one, especially at -120.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 2.5 (+130) as the better value; however, I don’t love the odds, especially with Colombia coming off a quarterfinals match in which no goals were scored.

I’d still put my trust in Messi helping his side get at least 2 goals. Colombia scored in three of its five matches while Argentina had 3 or more goals in two of its five games.

It’s a risk as Colombia’s attack hasn’t looked great for most of the tournament, but if Argentina can get one early and push the pace, everything should go its way.

Copa America: Colombia vs. Brazil preview, odds and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Colombia vs. Brazil odds and lines, with Copa America betting picks, tips and best bets.

In a battle of two South American powerhouses, Colombia (1 win, 1 loss, 1 draw) takes on Brazil (2-0-0) Wednesday in the Copa America group stage. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at Estadio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Below, we preview the Colombia vs. Brazil odds and lines, and make our best Copa America picks and predictions.

Brazil, led by Neymar, came into this tournament as the easy favorite. He had 2 of the club’s 7 goals in their first 2 games.

Brazil dominated Peru and Venezuela but has yet to take on a team of Colombia’s caliber.

Colombia comes into the tournament at No. 15 in the FIFA World Rankings. Brazil is No. 3 with France and Belgium No. 2 and No. 1 respectively.

Colombia vs. Brazil: Odds, picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:30 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Colombia +650 (bet $100 to win $650) | Brazil -210 (bet $210 to win $100) | Draw + 320 (bet $320 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: +110 | U: -150)

Place your legal, online 2021 Copa America bets in CO, IA, IN, MI, NJ, PA, TN, VA, WV and Washington D.C., at BetMGM. Risk-free first bet! Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Prediction

Brazil 3, Colombia 1

Money line (ML)

“LEAN” to BRAZIL (-210) as there are zero reasons to think the home side won’t pull this one out.

Although Brazil hasn’t played a team ranked in the top-25 internationally, It has dominated through two games by winning by a combined score of 7-0. On top of that, Colombia hasn’t looked sharp.

Colombia beat Ecuador, one of the worst teams in the tournament, lost to Peru, and tied Venezuala. They’ll more than likely lose to Brazil as well, but the problem is the cost for an outright Brazil win is relatively high.

Brazil should win this game, and it’s worth half a unit despite the return not being great. It’s the right move as Brazil hasn’t lacked any technical skill in the final third through its first couple of games.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the OVER 2.5 (+110) as the best value in the match.

Brazil has single-handedly topped that in their last two matches. Now the reason this is almost an even-money bet is Brazil has also looked flawless defensively and has yet to give up a goal.

Colombia has scored 2 goals in 3 games. It also gave up 2 goals to Peru, a team Brazil torched for 4 tallies. With MF Juan Cuadrado on the roster, Colombia has some talented players.

If it can get even 1 goal, the Over should hit. I fully expect at least 3 goals to be scored in this game.
