Kyle Trask nowhere to be found in CBS Sports’ two-round mock draft

The latest two-round mock draft from CBS shows Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney as selections, but Kyle Trask doesn’t appear.

There shouldn’t be much surprise in store for former Gators during the first night of the draft. Most mock drafts show both tight end Kyle Pitts and receiver Kadarius Toney as solidly in the first round, and though the latest two-round mock from CBS Sports has both going slightly lower than most other mock drafts, they’re still both projected to be off the board after the first 32 picks.

Some mock drafts (including the latest from ESPN’s Todd McShay) show Pitts going as high as the top five, most commonly to Atlanta at No. 4. However, the CBS mock shows the Falcons trading out of that spot to allow the Broncos to select quarterback Justin Fields there. Instead, this mock has Pitts falling two spots to No. 6, where he would join a Miami team that continues to acquire young talent.

Kyle Pitts is unlike anything that Miami has on its roster. Do not get hung up on whether or not he is a tight end or wide receiver, he is simply a mismatch nightmare for Tua Tagovailoa to exploit.
