Four San Antonio Spurs see ratings updated for NBA 2K24

A number of San Antonio players saw their ratings changed in the latest granular assessment of play in the league.

Now that the NBA’s trade deadline and 2024 All-Star Week are behind fans of the San Antonio Spurs, they can turn their attention to the news that really matters for the rest of the season (at least, to the gamers, anyway) — the arrival of a new set of NBA 2K24 overall player ratings for the Spurs.

A number of San Antonio players saw their ratings changed in the latest granular assessment of play in the league for the popular basketball simulation game, and most of them were positive. A total of four such players were updated, with three of the four seeing rises.

Let’s take a look at which players, and how they were assessed in this update.

NBA Player Rankings: Kawhi Leonard dominating, Stephen Curry falling

With roughly 25 games having come and gone, let’s take a look at the NBA Player Rankings.

The talent pool in the NBA is at an all-time high. From San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama coming in as a 7-foot-3 (or taller) freak to LeBron James continuing to dominate the league at 38 years old. There are a ton of players playing at an All-Star (and MVP) level right now.

Selecting the best player in the world will always be a subjective task. In reality, there are about five different players with a case for number one, 20 with a case to be in the top 10, and 100 with a case to be in the top 50. Everything is close together because of the sheer talent of the players in the league right now. Winning matters, stats matter, and, especially since this is the first rankings of the season, the overall performance of the players this season matters.

With that being said, let’s conduct the first-ever Spurs Wire NBA Player Rankings, selecting the top 25 guys in the league right now. (Keywords: Right now.)
