Bills release wide receiver related NFL draft hype video

With Eric Moulds on the narration:

The Buffalo Bills are not being shy about targeting wide receivers right at the start of the 2024 NFL draft.

In a video narrated by former Bills great Eric Moulds, the team released a very interesting highlight reel of college prospects… nearly all were receivers. Very intriguing.

While we wait and see what wideouts end up in Buffalo, check out the Moulds-narrated video below:

2024 NFL draft start time, TV channel

Here’s when the NFL draft starts and how to watch it:

The NFL draft kicks off Thursday from Detroit, Mich.

All seven rounds of the selection process are spread out across three days. It will air live on NFL Network and ESPN. Fans can also follow some writers on social media who will tip picks before they show on TV, although we’re not certain which writers will do that again this year so we’ll refrain from naming names.

Here’s a quick rundown of the days of the draft and the times each day’s festivities begin:

Day 1, Thursday
Rounds: 1
Start time: 5:00pm Pacific Time

Stream the NFL Draft on Fubo.

Day 2, Friday
Rounds: 2-3
Start time: 4:00pm PT

Day 3, Saturday
Rounds: 4-7
Start time: 9:00am PT

The 49ers aren’t slated to pick until late in each round, but trades up are definitely on the table, as well as a trade of wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, so San Francisco fans have plenty of reason to watch all of the festivities.

NFL VP of broadcasting says Bills still rank highly for prime-time slots (video)

NFL VP of broadcasting says #Bills still rank highly for prime-time slots (video):

The 2024 offseason for the Buffalo Bills has revolved around departures.

A star in Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans.

A staple in Jordan Poyer was released and is now with the Miami Dolphins.

Even so, Mike North, NFL vice president of broadcasting, said that likely won’t change how the league views the Bills in terms of the team being a featured franchise.

The schedule will be released in May. And when it is, Buffalo might be in the spotlight again, according to North.

Speaking via the “Always Gameday in Buffalo” podcast, North said the Bills are still appealing. The reason why shouldn’t come as a shock: Josh Allen.

Jordan Poyer jokes about facing Josh Allen in the open field during Bills-Dolphins

Jordan Poyer jokes about facing Josh Allen in the open field during Bills-Dolphins:

Jordan Poyer has moved on from the Bills but is still in the AFC East with the Dolphins.

That means he’ll be facing his former team who released him earlier this offseason twice in 2024.

During a recent chat with another former Bill, Eric Wood, on his podcast, Poyer gave his thoughts about potentially having to tackle his former teammate Josh Allen.

Poyer was confident in himself… but couldn’t hold back a laugh. Even he had to admit he has no idea  what he’s going to do.

Poyer’s thoughts can be found in the clip below:

Bills welcome Lindy Ruff back to Buffalo Sabres

#Bills welcome Lindy Ruff back to Buffalo #Sabres:

The Buffalo Sabres went for a blast from the past with their new head coach hire: Lindy Ruff.

Ruff, formerly the coach of the NHL club which is also under the watch of Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula, coached the Sabres from 1997 to 2013. Now he’s back and he got a welcome from his favorite team.

No, not the Sabres, the Bills.

Despite leaving Buffalo all those years back, the Bills had a lasting impact. Previously being a team captain for years on the Sabres helps, too. Regardless, the Bills remain his favorite NFL team.

Look, he was at a game, and on the field, in Philadelphia, just last season:

Correctly so, the Bills did their best efforts to give Ruff a welcome back home. The football team sent out this post after the news dropped that Ruff is back as the Sabres head coach:

Josh Allen gushes about golfing with Tiger Woods (video):

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was playing out a dream recently when he got to hit the links with Tiger Woods.

You could just tell that was the case by his genuine reaction.

Allen and Woods teamed up at the Genesis Invitational Pro-Am in February.

Lincoln Riley appears on Big Ten Network before USC spring football game

It’s weird: Riley appeared on Big Ten Network just before USC’s spring game airs on Pac-12 Network.

The USC Big Ten era doesn’t officially begin with Saturday’s spring football game, but unofficially, it certainly does feel like the start of something new. Lincoln Riley appeared on Big Ten Network and the “Big Ten Today” show to promote the spring game and discuss other USC subjects. The weirdness of the moment is magnified by the reality that even though Big Ten Network is now leaning into USC coverage, no one was able to find a way to put the USC football spring game on BTN. Pac-12 Network still gets to show the 2024 spring game even though the Trojans’ next regular-season football game will be as a Big Ten member school.

Despite the lack of BTN coverage for Saturday’s spring game, it’s still exciting to see USC get so much coverage and visibility from Big Ten Network. This is what USC fans can look forward to in the years to come. It’s a preview of what’s ahead for the Trojans this fall and beyond.

WATCH: Bills hit the field for OTAs in Orchard Park

The #Bills and… working out:

The Buffalo Bills are back on the football field… but we’re still a long ways away from football being played.

The team’s first week of voluntary organized team activities went down in Orchard Park this past week. The likes of Josh Allen, Von Miller, and others were there taking part.

The Bills shared clips of players working out, which wasn’t really much football, in the clips below:

Whoopi Goldberg jumps into WNBA salary debate, slams ESPN on The View for not investing more

“The women have the headlines. They have the fans. They have the viewers.”

So many people are talking about WNBA salaries and how things like TV and media rights play a direct role in their value. Now, Whoopi Goldberg is seemingly peeved with ESPN over the network’s approach to investing in the league.

In case you missed it, there was a lot of conversation this week about how much WNBA players make and why it’s so much less than the NBA. (We explained why here.) That chatter has somehow made its way over to Whoopi Goldberg and The View.

Goldberg took time on Thursday to make an impassioned plea for action regarding WNBA salaries and specifically took exception to ESPN’s approach.

Here’s what she told those in the studio audience (Warning: NSFW language used):

“The women have the headlines. They have the fans. They have the viewers. When the [expletive] are they going to get paid?…

Because ESPN, who we work with as part of the Disney thing, they came in and swooped in and said, ‘OK, we’re going to start to do this.’

I know there’s a re-up coming, but they should have kissed this deal by taking care of all of the WNBA and giving them enough money for a bump up because you know you have another deal to make. They should have sweetened that deal.”

Big Ten Network promotes USC, but still can’t televise Trojan spring game

Big Ten Network is offering analysis of USC, but BTN can’t cover the Trojans’ spring game. Sigh.

The absurdity of USC football moving into the Big Ten but not being shown on Big Ten Network or Fox Sports for its spring game is increasingly apparent. On the day before the action unfolds in the Los Angeles Coliseum, anyone interested in watching the USC spring game is being given one last example of how much the Pac-12 has limited USC’s exposure and overall national profile.

Big Ten Network is covering a lot of spring football games this weekend, and the outlet knows that USC is going to be part of the conference this fall. Big Ten Network was able to tell its viewers that the USC spring game is this Saturday, but then the network was unable to tell viewers what channel the game was on. The graphic below is such a sad story and commentary in itself. Three other Big Ten member schools have spring football games on either Big Ten Network or Fox. They are all getting the treatment one would rightly expect from a Big Ten football school … but then there’s USC, the team which wasn’t able to be shown on either BTN or Fox.

USC fans are being subjected to one last humiliating experience, courtesy of the Pac-12 Network.
