Tonight, the No. 7 seed Florida Gators meet up with the No. 15 seed Oral Roberts Golden Eagles for a second round tangle in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Both teams needed overtime to overcome their first round foes, but a win is a win and now the schools confront each other for the first time ever on the parquet.
Not only is UF the higher seed, but it also carried a high NET ranking at the season’s end, finishing at No. 31 in contrast to ORU’s No. 158 standing. So it is no surprise that the oddsmakers are favoring Florida in Sunday’s matchup, but the outlook is not quite as bullish as you might think.
BetMGM inched the Gators up a half-point to an 8.5-point favorite from yesterday’s line while the over/under remained set at 148.5 points on Sunday morning before the game.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. EDT on Sunday inside the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana. The second-round game will be broadcast by truTV, livestreamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app and can be heard on the Gators Sports Network.
