Watch: K’Lavon Chaisson shows off pass rushing skills in workout video

Jags first-rounder K’Lavon Chaisson has been working hard this offseason and it shows in a video released by DL specialist Brandon Jordan.

With the Jacksonville Jaguars investing both of their first-round selections into the defense, fans are really excited to see if the unit looks better in 2020. Of course, their first pick of the draft, C.J. Henderson, will garner the eyes of a lot of fans as a former Florida Gator, but K’Lavon Chaisson could have an even bigger impact as a multifaceted edge rusher.

Like most players, Chaisson has been working hard despite the hurdles the coronavirus has caused and is ready to get back on the field with his new teammates. This week, defensive line specialist Brandon Jordan released a workout video of Chaisson to show the work he’s putting in, and like his highlights from college, it’s quite impressive.

Coming into the draft Chaisson’s athleticism was something many draft pundits pointed out and the video above clearly showcases it. Also, his change of direction and bend stick out in the video, both of which are traits many are eager to see on the football field.

Chaisson was taken by the Jags with the No. 20 overall pick this April, a pick given to them by the Los Angeles Rams for Jalen Ramsey. He’ll be coming off a season in which he helped the Louisiana State Tigers win the 2020 College Football National Championship after racking up 60 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks on the season.
