Earlier this week we created an NFL team made up of only former Georgia football players – and that squad was loaded with talent.
That got us thinking…what about the players who were left off of that team? They deserve some love, too.
Below we list every former Georgia football player currently on an NFL roster. In total, there are 51.

Here’s a look at what an NFL roster would look like, filled only with former Georgia football players, following the 2021 NFL draft.
The Georgia Bulldogs recently saw nine former players selected in the 2021 NFL draft.
Only Ohio State (10) and Alabama (10) had more. Notre Dame was tied with UGA at nine.
With all these fresh faces entering the league, it got us wondering….what would an all-UGA NFL team look like?
Well, it would be loaded with talent, especially at the linebacker position, where Roquan Smith would lead a ferocious defense.
On offense, it would be Matthew Stafford and Nick Chubb’s team, with a really solid offensive line in front of them.
Speaking of Stafford, we’ll see the former Lions record-breaker in a new uniform for the first time in his career after he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. Same goes for A.J. Green, who after a long career with the Bengals will now suit up for Arizona.
And we’re still waiting to hear what’s next for some former Dawgs, especially Todd Gurley, Justin Houston and Geno Atkins. All remain free agents after what have already been Hall of Fame-level careers.
Here’s a look at what an all-UGA NFL team would look like, starting with team superlatives.
The Los Angeles Rams have signed former Georgia Bulldog linebacker Natrez Patrick to their active roster and elevated J.R. Reed.
The Los Angeles Rams have signed former Georgia Bulldog linebacker Natrez Patrick to their active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams have had Natrez Patrick on both their 53-man roster and their practice squad this season.
Patrick has played in 19 career games for Los Angeles. He has recorded one tackle thus far this season.
Additionally, the Los Angeles Rams elevated former University of Georgia safety J.R. Reed from their practice squad to their game day roster. Reed made his NFL debut last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Rams made the two moves in a series of roster transactions. Additionally, L.A. activated former New England Patriots defensive end Derek Rivers from exemption and restored defensive back Jake Gervase to the practice squad.

Overall, the Los Angeles Rams are 7-3 and are looking to hold off the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West. Reed and Patrick may help the Rams make the playoffs if they can make impact plays on special teams and on defense.

Georgia continues to be one of college football’s leading producers of NFL talent, with seven players being taken in the 2020 NFL Draft.
At almost every position does Georgia have an NFL star — linebacker and running back being the most notable.
From veteran passer Matthew Stafford to new Falcons back Todd Gurley, to rookie kicker Rodrigo Blankenship, former Georgia Bulldogs look to put up big numbers again in 2020.
We’ve gone through an exercise of picking the best at each position to field a starting team of former Georgia players, all from a current pool of those currently on NFL rosters.
Remember, free agents did not make the team.
So, let’s get it started shall we?
After the release of the 2020 NFL schedule, here’s a look at every prime-time game that former Georgia football players will appear in.
On Thursday, the NFL released its 2020 schedule, providing more optimism that a football season will take place come September.
With Georgia having added seven new players into the league via the NFL Draft, there’s going to be a number of UGA fans hoping for a chance to watch some former Dawgs play on prime-time television.
The Patriots, Cowboys, Chiefs, Packers, 49ers, Rams and Buccaneers will be featured most in prime time during the 2020 NFL season with five games apiece.

Cowboys, Packers and Bucs do not have any Bulldogs.

You may recall that last week the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie standout arrived at his home stadium dressed as iconic rapper LL Cool J ahead of the divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans.
Hardman’s attention to detail was quite thorough: he showed up with a mid-1980’s boombox perched on his shoulder over a red felt tracksuit. He wore a gold chain thick enough to choke a man and expensive enough to bankrupt another.
