[autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football team are wrapping up their bye before completing the final third of the regular season.

Despite their loss to Tennessee, the Crimson Tide still remain in the hunt for an SEC West crown and a trip to the SEC Championship. But the road to Atlanta will not be easy for the Tide.

Following the bye week, Alabama will make back-to-back road trips to ranked LSU and ranked Ole Miss before finishing the season off at home with Austin Peay and arch-rival Auburn.

It seems like every year a handful of players find their groove toward the back half of the season and begin to make an impact on the team. Let’s take a look at five potential members of the Crimson Tide that could breakout following the bye week.

10 Alabama football players that should see more playing time in the weeks to come

Here are several of Alabama’s current players who should be seeing more playing time in the future.

Alabama has looked inconsistent at times this season. That goes for both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Certain position groups have shown strides of improvement while other spots have struggled down the stretch.

Everybody knows that talent isn’t a question. There has been an abundance of talent that has been recruited at each of the different position groups. That goes for both the offense and defense. As the season progresses, Alabama’s coaching staff will work to put players in the best position to be successful.

Through the first seven weeks, the team has had its share of highs and lows. Whatever the case may be, there is still plenty of time to fix the areas of concern and prevent these issues from re-occurring in the future.

There is always room for more playmakers and leaders. That is why Alabama’s depth could come into play throughout the course of the season. Today, Roll Tide Wire looks at 10 Crimson Tide players who should see more playing time in the near future.

A list of true freshmen who participated in Alabama’s Week 1 win over Utah State.

Alabama head football coach [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] has to be pleased with his team’s effort on Saturday night as the Crimson Tide completely obliterated Utah State 55-0.

One of the most important attributes of a blowout victory is the opportunity that some of the younger players receive to see the field.

Aside from playing several second-year players, Alabama also placed a handful of true freshmen on the field. A few even received some snaps with the first team and receiver [autotag]Kobe Prentice[/autotag] earned the start in the slot.

5 offensive players Alabama fans need to watch during A-Day

Alabama’s annual A-Day game is set to kick off on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. CT inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

There is plenty of talent both young and old to be excited about if you are a ‘Bama fan, and it will also be our first opportunity of the spring to see this year’s version of the Tide.

In his Thursday press conference leading up to A-Day, head coach Nick Saban said the format for the scrimmage would be the first-team offense against the first-team defense and the second-team offense against the second-team defense. With this format, fans will get to experience a more game-like scenario with good on good.

Leading up to the start of A-Day tomorrow, I wanted to sit down and give fans a handful of players from each side of the ball that I believe could make an impact during the scrimmage. I want fans to keep in mind that these are players that fans have not seen make a tremendous impact yet for the Crimson Tide, but could on Saturday and during the 2022 season.

Today we will look at the offensive side of the ball. Let’s roll.

A look at Alabama’s potentially loaded backfield in 2022

My goodness, this would be a loaded backfield!

Last Wednesday on early signing day, Nick Saban and Alabama reeled in a pair of top-notched running backs in Emmanuel Henderson and Jamarion Miller.

Alabama wasn’t finished either. On Tuesday afternoon talented Georgia Tech running back transfer Jahmyr Gibbs announced that he was taking his talents to Tuscaloosa too.

Brian Robinson Jr. is the only back that we know for certain will not return to Alabama in 2022.

With that being said, the 2022 running back room for the Tide is flat-out loaded with talent.

Here is what the depth chart could potentially look like heading into next season.
