12 signees to represent Alabama in the Under Armour All-American Game

Alabama has 12 signees on the Under Armour All-American Game roster.

Alabama will be well represented by the class of 2023 early signees at the Under Armour All-American Game. A total of 12 signees are on the roster for the annual all-star contest.

It should come as no surprise that Alabama has so many signees on the roster since [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Crimson Tide have the nation’s top class.

Even recruits who decided to graduate early and practice with Alabama ahead of the Sugar Bowl will be eligible to participate but we will not know until late Thursday if any players have made that decision.

Here is a complete list of Alabama signees on the Under Armour All-American roster.

Alabama Football: Six early enrollees to join Tide on Friday for Sugar Bowl prep

Though these prospects will be ineligible to participate in the matchup with the Wildcats, the experience these young players will receive is invaluable.

[autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to begin practice on Friday in preparation for the Kansas State Wildcats and the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Joining the Crimson Tide on the practice field will be six new faces that are a part of Alabama’s top-ranked recruiting class for the 2023 cycle.

Though these prospects will be ineligible to participate in the matchup with the Wildcats, the experience these young players will receive is invaluable.

Currently, Alabama is set to have seven practices in Tuscaloosa before making the trip to New Orleans.

Below is a complete practice schedule and the list of prospects scheduled to join the team on Friday:

Early enrollee DL Jaheim Oatis claims to have lost some major weight

If the talented early enrollee continues to lose weight, he could become a major factor along the defensive line.

One of the biggest signees, both potentially and physically, for the Tide in the class of 2022 was Mississippi native Jaheim Oatis. The four-star defensive lineman joined the Tide as an early enrollee in January and Nick Saban and the coaching staff immediately got the mammoth freshman on a strict diet.

According to Oatis, the diet is working extremely well. Oatis took to Twitter late Friday night to send a special thank you to the nutritionist, Amy Ellis, for helping him lose a total of 46-pounds over the past three months.

When Oatis arrived at Alabama he was most likely pushing the 400-pound mark. On Alabama’s official roster, Oatis is currently listed at 370-pounds.

If Oatis could get under 350, he would become a major problem for opposing offensive lineman.

In addition, there were a lot of other number changes amongst the players already on the roster, including:

  • Jalyn Armour-Davis – changed to No. 5 from No. 22
