And given the result of the 2025 Super Bowl, you had to figure it definitely wasn’t going to happen: Did Travis Kelce propose to Taylor Swift after the Kansas City Chiefs’ blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles?

We haven’t heard official word. But we assumed that he wouldn’t propose in our Taylor Swift prop bet predictions, mostly because we didn’t think he’d do it if they did win given all the cameras and people around. But if he WAS planning it, maybe it was scrapped since the Chiefs lost.

In what can only be described as a beatdown, the Eagles exacted revenge on the Chiefs, winning Super Bowl LIX in dominant fashion, 40-22.

Vic Fangio’s No. 1 ranked defense held Kansas City to 275 yards of total offense and 3-11 on third downs, with Patrick Mahomes getting sacked six times on the night. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts was 17 of 22 passing for 221 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a 119.7 passer rating.

Kansas City scored 16 fourth-quarter points, but it was too late as the Eagles jumped out to a 34-6 lead in the third quarter and bullied the Chiefs throughout the contest. In what can only be described as a team win, the Eagles won despite Saquon Barkley getting held to 57 yards on 25 carries.

Jalen Hurts led the Eagles with a Super Bowl record of 11 carries for 72 yards and one rushing touchdown.

With Barkley shut down, DeVonta Smith had four catches for 69 yards (17.3 avg) and one touchdown.  A.J. Brown had three catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Friends and family joined the pop star on Sunday night in New Orleans.

Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, and pop star Taylor Swift was in attendance to support boyfriend Travis Kelce. The 14-time Grammy winner was once again in a suite to take in the action, and she was surrounded with friends and family.

Rapper Ice Spice, who joined Swift for last year’s Super Bowl, was back again, as was Swift’s close friend Ashley Avignone. Kelce’s brother Jason, sister-in-law Kylie and mom Donna could all be seen in the suite, as could Swift’s father, Scott, and brother Austin. Ed Kelce was there too.

All three Haim sisters — Alana, Danielle and Este — were also in the box with Swift.

Swift was at the Superdome on Sunday to support boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Chiefs looked to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls. And despite Swift’s previous allegiance to the Eagles, she was clearly rooting for the Chiefs. During the first quarter, Swift was shown on the videoboard. And let’s just say that she didn’t expect her fellow Pennsylvanians to be *that* upset about her new team.

The heavy-Eagles crowd booed Swift who reacted with surprise.

It was a stark change from what she experienced at that stadium during the Eras Tour — that’s for sure.

Last Sunday, singer Taylor Swift was in Los Angeles at the Grammy Awards. She wore a stunning red mini designed by Vivienne Westwood, pairing it with red stilettos, red bejeweled earrings and a red lip. Around her thigh, Swift added a gold chain with red stones and a “T” charm, designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

This Sunday, the piece of jewelry reappeared, this time at the Super Bowl as a necklace for the 14-time Grammy winner. Swift wore an oversized cream blazer with a white tank, denim shorts and tall boots. Around her neck, the The Tortured Poets Department singer added the “T” chain, a clear sign of support for boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Swift arrived at the Caesars Superdome in an oversized cream blazer, worn over a white tank top, jean shorts and tall cream boots. The The Tortured Poets Department singer went with a more neutral lip and loose curls to complete the look. She seemed relaxed arriving at the stadium, greeting people in the hallways as she walked to her suite.
