12 celebrity fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, including Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis

The Chiefs have a TON of famous fans.

If you like tracking celebrity sightings at sporting events, this was an especially busy season to follow the Kansas City Chiefs, who play the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.

Taylor Swift has attended numerous games while supporting her partner, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. As such, we have seen many of her very famous friends (including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively as well as Cara Delevingne and Keileigh Teller) at Kansas City games this season.

Last year, a mic’d up Paul Rudd was the most excited while celebrating on the field with the players after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. He and his son also gave the most adorable interview following the victory.

But it wasn’t the first time that the famous actor celebrated on the field after Kansas City won the Super Bowl. Rudd was also joined by Eric Stonestreet (the actor who played Cameron in Modern Family) when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020.

Here are some of the other most notable names rooting for Kansas City:

But there’s a good number of celebrity fans of both 2023 Super Bowl teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. And there’s more to Kansas City’s famous fans than Paul Rudd and Eric Stonestreet.

Actor Eric Stonestreet welcomed new Chiefs WR Josh Gordon to Kansas City

Notable Chiefs fan Eric Stonestreet has been showing all that Kansas City has to offer to one of the newest members of the team.

Stonestreet has consistently shown his fandom at games, on social media, and as alter ego Randy Reid, the brother of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. This week, Stonestreet was putting in more work for the Chiefs as he introduced newly-signed wide receiver Josh Gordon to Garozzo’s Ristorante. The classic Italian restaurant has been located in downtown Kansas City since 1989 and they tweeted a photo from Stonestreet and Gordon’s visit.

Gordon, fresh off of making his Kansas City debut against Buffalo in Week 5, spoke about the experience and being welcomed to the city as a member of the Chiefs.

“It’s been a rapid, I guess, acceptance to Kansas City,” Gordon told reporters on Friday. “And it’s been well received by me. I love it, and it’s a great restaurant with good food. (Eric) Stonestreet is a great guy, he’s showing me the ropes a little bit as far as the community goes and what places to try to check off the list when I get time. But it’s been amazing to have that type of support my first week here. (I) enjoy the camaraderie of the city in the community and I look to get behind that just as much as they do me.”

Before signing with the Chiefs, Gordon was suspended indefinitely due to multiple substance abuse violations that have plagued his promising career. He made sure to acknowledge his journey back to the field and the impact of the fans in Kansas City.

“Through this experience, I think most of all, it’s just staying focused,” said Gordon. “And you have to have an extreme level of focus if you want to do anything consistently well in life. And I think, perseverance and gratitude, just appreciation for every day being able to wake up being healthy. Having the resources I have at my disposal to use and go out there and get what it is that I desire most in life and that right now is playing football in the NFL, and we’re able to be here.

“It’s electric here at Arrowhead, even getting to watch in Philly. You know Philly, but Kansas City is good. It was good to see the people back in the stands. It was good to see, you know, the offense really ball. It was just to see the emotions of it all kind of quarterback game and say, ‘OK, this is where I want to be. This is what it was all meant for.’ So I couldn’t be happier.”

Gordon had one reception in last Sunday’s loss to the Bills, but it was a nice preview for Chiefs fans everywhere of what is to come this season.

Brett Veach: Eric Stonestreet has seen Chiefs’ 2021 schedule

Stonestreet is part of an elite inner circle who has already seen the Kansas City Chiefs’ schedule.

An elite inner circle has already seen the NFL’s schedule ahead of its reveal. Kansas City Chiefs GM Brett Veach revealed on the Rich Eisen Show that a few people within his department have already seen the team’s schedule. That group includes Veach, Andy Reid and . . . Eric Stonestreet?

Yes, Stonestreet, the actor and Chiefs superfan, is part of the inner circle who has already seen the schedule according to Veach. Technically, he’s family, having played Chiefs HC Andy Reid’s brother Randy Reid at training camp in 2019.

“What you can do at least to protect me a little bit here so I don’t get in trouble, any information you need Chiefs related just give Eric (Stonestreet) a text,” Veach told Eisen. “And that way, we’ll keep it clean.”

Apparently, Stonestreet believes there’s a fourth person who has already seen the schedule in the building that Veach forgot to mention. That would be none other than Chiefs CEO and Chairman, Clark Hunt.

That certainly would make some sense that the owner of the team would be privy to the schedule early. I’m a bit surprised that Patrick Mahomes hasn’t managed to get a glimpse at the schedule yet. We’ll all know soon enough the complete schedule with the clock ticking down to the full reveal, but maybe Stonestreet will be so kind as to tease some of his insider knowledge this afternoon.

Chiefs RT Mitchell Schwartz sends Eric Stonestreet his gloves from Super Bowl LIV

The Modern Family actor and Kansas City Chiefs superfan got a cool gift from RT Mitchell Schwartz.

Kansas City Chiefs superfan and actor on ABC’s “Modern Family,” Eric Stonestreet, recently received a special delivery from one of his friends over at 1 Arrowhead Drive.

Stonestreet has been a part of the Chiefs Kingdom for life. But he also played a special role in the season-long journey to a Super Bowl championship. He appeared at the 2019 training camp in St. Joseph as “Randy Reid” the fictional brother to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

When things kicked off in Miami for Super Bowl LIV, Stonestreet was present and accounted for. He wouldn’t miss an opportunity to see his beloved Chiefs play in the first Super Bowl in 50 years. When the clock went to double zeroes, Stonestreet was right in the thick of the chaos congratulating and celebrating the win with players on the sidelines.

A few weeks later, Stonestreet received a gift from one of those players. Chiefs RT Mitchell Schwartz sent him a pair of game-worn gloves from the Super Bowl. They still even have the tape from the game on them.

Schwartz followed up his gift with a little bit of information about his glove size and his thought process on how he tapes his fingers. It was some really useful information for fans and even some young players just starting out and learning the ropes of playing offensive tackle.

Most know about Schwartz having 18-inch feet, but they probably didn’t realize his hands were so big that he wears a 4XL sized glove. He might need a new nickname that’s suitable for having both monstrous hands and feet.

In any event, this was a kind gesture by Schwartz to celebrate one of the biggest fans in the Chiefs Kingdom. And specifically, one that has provided some entertainment for the players and fellow fans since the start of this wondrous season.

Paul Rudd and Eric Stonestreet were so pumped up to see the Chiefs win the Super Bowl

The two actors are SO HAPPY.

When we last saw actors Paul Rudd and Eric Stonestreet, they were so, so excited to see the Kansas City Chiefs — the team they both love so very much — make it to the Super Bowl.

On Sunday, there they were in Miami, celebrating with players, giving and getting hugs and being emotional like every other Chiefs fan out there.

They did various interviews with the media, and it’s delightful to watch the Ant-Man and Modern Family stars enjoying the win. Here’s a sampling of their post-game joy and humor in the middle of the massive celebration at Hard Rock Stadium:

Drew Brees reveals who he’s rooting for in Super Bowl LIV

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees didn’t mull over his options when asked if he’ll pull for the Chiefs or 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.

[jwplayer qnZvfmkx-ThvAeFxT]

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees appeared on The Rich Eisen Show along with other guests including “Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet, a well-known Kansas City Chiefs fan. Brees talked about his career so far, his family’s experience at the Pro Bowl, and his plans for watching Super Bowl LIV, which will pit the Chiefs against Brees’ NFC-rival San Francisco 49ers. And of course everyone wanted to know who Brees was pulling for.

“No no no, listen,” Brees replied when told it would be alright if he was pulling for the 49ers. “I would love to see Andy Reid get a Super Bowl ring. He deserves it. Absolutely. Plus I can say that the last Super Bowl that the Kansas City Chiefs won was coached by Hank Stram, Purdue grad. Quarterbacked by Len Dawson, quarterback grad. So, blow your mind,” he joked, referencing the Chiefs’ Super Bowl IV win over the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s tough to argue with Brees’ logic. Plenty of Saints fans will probably be following his lead — ugly history with the 49ers aside (including decades of terror from Joe Montana and Steve Young in the old NFC West, and a torturous 2011 playoffs loss), the game is stocked with faces familiar to Louisiana football fans. Former LSU Tigers safety Tyrann Mathieu is leading the Kansas City secondary, while one-time Atlanta Falcons coordinator Kyle Shanahan is coaching the 49ers. If we’re lucky, maybe he’ll get a 28-3 lead again and fail to hold onto it.

Paul Rudd and Eric Stonestreet had the most fun celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl berth

These two Kansas die-hards who are super psyched.

Insert all your “Hey, look at us” memes here.

The Kansas City Chiefs are off to the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years, and they’ve got a pair of celebrity fans who supported them on Sunday as Patrick Mahomes and Co. clinched a trip to Miami: Ant-Man star Paul Rudd and Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family fame.

Stonestreet and Rudd both grew up in Kansas and have been seen rooting on Kansas City teams over the years (Rudd had a blast celebrating with the Royals in 2015), and they were on hand to give their support to the Chiefs:

And afterwards? Well, see for yourself:
