Lassiter is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and plays high school football for American Christian. He’s a talented three-star recruit who has received major attention from big-time FBS programs.

Lassiter put Georgia, Georgia Tech, FSU, Alabama, LSU and Auburn in his top schools this summer, but Clemson has now entered into the mix. The Tigers and Michigan offered the three-star cornerback a scholarship since he released his most recent top schools.

During the current recruiting dead period it is tough for players to visit schools. They have to do so on their own, without the financial support of the school.

Georgia Bulldogs target Kamari Lassiter announced his commitment time via his Twitter account. He’s set to commit Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m. on his high school football team’s field. It’s a great way to do a socially distanced commitment. Best of luck to Lassiter wherever he plays college football.

UGA recruiting target 4-star Jeremiah Williams sets commitment date

Four-star 2021 defensive end recruit Jeremiah Williams will pick from the Georgia Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, and more.

The Georgia Bulldogs made Jeremiah “Scooby” Williams’ top four schools. Williams is a member of the class of 2021 and narrowed his list to Georgia, Auburn, Florida and Oklahoma earlier this year.

Williams will have plenty of time to make his decision. He is projected to join the Auburn Tigers, but anything can happen in SEC recruiting battles. Georgia faces the Tigers before his commitment date, so maybe that will influence his decision.

It was surprising to see him trim the Crimson Tide from his top schools. Notably, he plays with another elite defensive lineman (Tim Keenan), who has committed to Alabama.

Williams is a four-star defensive, who plays at Ramsay High School and is from Birmingham, Alabama. Williams announced his upcoming commitment date of Oct. 10 via his Twitter account:

The Georgia Bulldogs have 15 commitments in the class of 2021. Kirby Smart, Dan Lanning and the Bulldog defense have one edge rusher commitment at the moment. Georgia recently lost a commitment from edge player Elijah Jeudy, who had committed to UGA in the spring.

Keenan picked Alabama over Georgia, Nebraska, UNC, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, UAB, Tennessee, Oregon, and LSU. He announced his decision to stay in his home state of Alabama via Twitter:

The Ramsay defensive tackle consistently overpowers linemen at the high school level. He doesn’t have elite quickness for a defensive lineman, but he shows solid awareness and can be disruptive running and passing games.

Check out Tim Keenan’s impressive tape:
