Can the Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart flip Auburn’s highest-ranked commitment? Four-star running back Jeremiah Cobb has previously considered the Bulldogs.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star running back recruit Jeremiah Cobb. Kirby Smart and Georgia football have one commitment from a running back in the senior class and are looking to add another talented back.

Cobb is Auburn’s highest-ranked commitment in the class of 2023. Cobb plays running back for Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School in Montgomery, Alabama. Cobb is rated as the No. 8 running back in the class of 2023 and the No. 15 recruit in Alabama. The talented senior is the No. 185 overall recruit.

Georgia football is late in the process to offer a scholarship to Cobb, but the Bulldogs have been in consideration for the four-star running back.

The Auburn Tigers and head coach Bryan Harsin are struggling to secure commitments from top recruits in the class of 2023. The Tigers have the No. 49 recruiting class in the nation. Auburn has just 11 commitments.

The Montgomery Catholic star also runs track. Jeremiah Cobb has scholarship offers from Penn State, Texas A&M, Clemson, Texas and many more.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football already flipped one highly-ranked running back recruit in the class of 2023. Can the Bulldogs flip another?

Joiner committed to Auburn over Georgia and Penn State. The Auburn High School star visited Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Auburn this year, but he’s planning to play college football with the Tigers.

Joiner is a center that is rated as a four-star recruit. Joiner is one of the top-rated interior offensive line players in his class and is the No. 254 ranked recruit in the class of 2023.

Joiner previously played high school football for Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama.

Five-star offensive tackle recruit Amarius Mims is one of the top players in the class of 2021. Now, Mims has committed to the University of Georgia. Matt Luke and Kirby Smart helped secure a commitment from the elite recruit.

Mims is six-foot-eight tall and weighs 315 pounds. He has an impressive size for an offensive tackle and has the frame to play in the NFL. He plays high school football at Bleckley County in Cochran, Georgia.

Georgia has now secured a commitment from the top tackle in the class of 2020 and 2021. Matt Luke and the University of Georgia would love to continue their offensive line recruiting dominance for years to come.

Mims chose UGA over Alabama, Oklahoma, FSU, Tennessee, and Auburn. He’s expected to compete for playing time right away at Georgia.

Kirby Smart has rejuvenated Georgia’s offensive front. Georgia is physical in the trenches on both sides of the ball and that will continue for years to come.

Amarius Mims and high school offensive line recruits have to be impressed with UGA’s offensive line in recent years. Two Georgia Bulldog offensive linemen (Isaiah Wilson and Andrew Thomas) were picked in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Georgia Bulldogs made Jeremiah “Scooby” Williams’ top four schools. Williams is a member of the class of 2021 and narrowed his list to Georgia, Auburn, Florida and Oklahoma earlier this year.

Williams will have plenty of time to make his decision. He is projected to join the Auburn Tigers, but anything can happen in SEC recruiting battles. Georgia faces the Tigers before his commitment date, so maybe that will influence his decision.

It was surprising to see him trim the Crimson Tide from his top schools. Notably, he plays with another elite defensive lineman (Tim Keenan), who has committed to Alabama.

Williams is a four-star defensive, who plays at Ramsay High School and is from Birmingham, Alabama. Williams announced his upcoming commitment date of Oct. 10 via his Twitter account:
