2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s mock draft 3.0, picks 1-16

Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

16. Atlanta Falcons – Javon Kinlaw, IDL, South Carolina

Previous pick: K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

Analysis: K’Lavon Chaisson was the pick in the last mock, and he’s still on the board in this scenario as well. But with that said, I still have the Falcons pivoting and taking an interior defensive lineman this go-around.

Why, you might ask? Well, the team did sign Dante Fowler during free agency, and I don’t think Dan Quinn is quite ready to give up on former first-round selection Takkarist McKinley just yet.

That doesn’t mean another edge player isn’t needed, however. I’m just under the impression that Atlanta wouldn’t mind adding an interior guy to play next to Grady Jarrett either, as long as the pass rush is improved as a result.

Don’t rule out a cornerback here if Henderson is still available.
