2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s mock draft 3.0, picks 1-16

Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Previous pick: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State (pick previously owned by IND)

Analysis: Seeing the Indianapolis Colts trade their first-round pick to the 49ers in exchange for DeForest Buckner threw an interesting wrinkle into the upcoming draft.

Several draft evaluators, myself included, saw Indianapolis making a move to land a quarterback of the future to develop behind new free agent signing Philip Rivers, but that won’t be happening at No. 13 now.

Deebo Samuel has the makeup of a future WR1 in the league, but teaming up the South Carolina product with Lamb and tight end George Kittle is too good to pass up. Jimmy Garoppolo will be thrilled.
