Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Previous pick: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

Analysis: With all the positive news surrounding the injury to Tua Tagovailoa’s hip, it’s almost a guarantee that Miami is going to have to trade up to land the Alabama quarterback.

I’ve continued to mock Tagovailoa to the Dolphins throughout the offseason, but it’s been all over the board. First, it was staying put at No. 5 overall. Then, it was moving up the No. 2 spot.

With COVID-19 becoming such an issue with private workouts and Pro Days, the health and status of Tagovailoa could be somewhat affected. With that said, Miami is still going to have to move up for the former Heisman runner-up regardless.
