2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s mock draft 3.0, picks 1-16

Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

10. Cleveland Browns – Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Previous pick: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

Analysis: In the last mock draft, I had Cleveland trading down to No. 15 with the Broncos and snagging Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas. But after some internal debate, I’ve decided that staying at No. 10 and getting Tristan Wirfs is worth it.

The Iowa product could be an effective left tackle or a dominate right tackle in the NFL, but the team signing Jack Conklin probably means Wirfs ends up protecting Baker Mayfield’s blindside.

There will be some growing pains, but at the end of the day, it should be worth it.
