2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s mock draft 3.0, picks 1-16

Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

4. New York Giants – Isaiah Simmons, LB/S, Clemson

Previous pick: Jedrick Wills Jr., OT, Alabama

Analysis: Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. was the selection here through the first two mock drafts, but I’ve decided to pivot to Clemson hybrid defensive standout Isaiah Simmons.

At 6-foot-4, 238 pounds, Simmons ran a blazing 4.39 40-yard dash, which was even faster than Jerry Jeudy.

His ability to line up all over the field will be a valuable asset to whichever team gets him, and while the Giants did make several moves at linebacker (Blake Martinez, David Mayo) this offseason, I could see still Gettleman going after Simmons.
