2020 NFL Draft: Clint Lamb’s mock draft 3.0, picks 1-16

Alabama is expected to see several of its former players hear their names called during the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

Previous pick: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Analysis: Wirfs isn’t available in this mock due to the Browns staying at No. 10 and taking him, so the Buccaneers need a fallback option, if you can call a talent like Andrew Thomas a backup plan.

Thomas may not have the ceiling of some of the other offensive tackles in this class, but he’s an instant starter from Day 1 who could survive at left or tackle in Tampa Bay.

With Tom Brady now on the roster, you can bank on the fact that Bruce Arians will want to land him more help. Donovan Smith is penciled in at left tackle, but going from Demar Dotson to Thomas would be an upgrade on the other side.
