Ohio State included in four-star defensive tackles’ top six

Ohio State is one of six schools 2021 four-star defensive end Marcus Bradley says are his top choices.

Ohio State appears to be in the running for another talented four-star talent for the already stellar 2021 class. Four-star defensive tackle Marcus Bradley announced his top six schools Sunday and included the Buckeyes as one of them.

At six-foot, three-inches and 270 pounds, Bradley has offers from several major schools and is listed as the No. 11 defensive tackle in the country and a top 200 recruit overall according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is out of Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

The other teams that made the cut for Bradley’s services include Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, USC, and Maryland. Many believe the Terps have the leg up as the home school, but that remains to be seen. According to Eleven Warriors, Bradleys’ father has reportedly fallen in love with Larry Johnson and the “Buckeye Brotherhood,” so that bears watching.

We’re probably still a ways off from any decision being made here, but we’ll continue to watch as Bradley goes through the process.

When he arrived at Michigan State, new football head coach Mel Tucker first had to review the state of MSU recruiting for the 2021 class under Mark Dantonio. From there, he had to make decisions on certain players and determine whether or not he wanted to re-offer them scholarships or not. One of those players was 4-star defensive tackle Marcus Bradley, who announced on Monday that he was re-offered by the Spartans.

Bradley is the No. 11 ranked defensive tackle and the No. 9 ranked player in Maryland in the 2021 class according to the 247sports composite rankings. They currently have him projected to be heading to Ohio State but that could change with the addition of a highly respected coach and recruiter like Mel Tucker now in town.
