Arthur Maulet ruled out of Ravens vs. Bengals; Andrew Vorhees among 3 questionable

The Baltimore Ravens have ruled out Arthur Maulet and listed Andrew Vorhees and Deonte Harty as questionable for Week 5 vs. Bengals

The Ravens are ruling cornerback Arthur Maulet out for Sunday’s matchup with the Bengals. Andrew Vorhees and Deonte Harty are among three players listed as questionable for Baltimore’s AFC North opener.

Maulet returned to practice this week after missing four games with a hamstring injury and appeared to suffer a setback on Thursday or Friday.

Vorhees, Harty, and Ali were all full participants in practice on Friday and should play, while the Bengals welcomed four key defenders back to the lineup.

The win started with an opening-drive touchdown run by running back Gus Edwards. The Ravens were very focused on offense, surrendering zero turnovers and converting on six of their 12 third downs.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken did much to avoid the type of letdown the team had in a Week 10 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Monken sequenced in 31 running plays and ran a balanced offense against the Bengals.

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. worked as a serviceable target for Jackson, needing only four catches to tally  116 receiving yards. With tight end Mark Andrews now injured, perhaps Monken will be looking to feature Beckham more frequently in the passing game.

Viewing info for Bengals vs. Ravens in Week 11.

The Cincinnati Bengals play Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens in a short turnaround from their loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday. They are looking to bounce back after losing the four-game winning streak they were on before the loss.

With Lamar Jackson playing at an MVP level this season, the defense will need to be on its game, so whether Trey Hendrickson is able to play, and if he is going to be close to 100 percent will likely be an important factor. He has been suiting up for practices despite his hyperextended knee, so that is an encouraging sign.

Joe Burrow continued his streak of good performances against the Texans, and other than Tyler Boyd’s pivotal drop in the end zone at the end of the game, the offense as a whole still looked like it was clicking.

In a very tight AFC North race where all of the teams are over .500 going into Week 11, this game will be a pivotal one in the race after the Ravens beat the Bengals the first time around this season in Cincinnati.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow has thrown 14 pass touchdowns in 2023

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has thrown 14 touchdowns in nine games played this season.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has thrown 14 touchdowns in nine games played this season. Th Baltimore Ravens will need to focus on halting the Bengals passing game in week 10.

On Sep. 17 the Ravens intercepted Burrow once and escaped a late game rally to win 27-24. The stakes have definitely increased for both teams as they enter the latter stretch of the season.

Burrow and the Bengals, having reached the AFC Championship in both 2021 and 2022, now sit in last place in the AFC North division. Yet, If they are victorious in week 10 be just one game behind the Ravens.

Having stampeded both the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks in week 8 & 9, the Ravens took a step back losing to the Browns in week 10..

Thursday Night Football sets the stage for a very dramatic game where tons of scrutiny will be applied to both quarterback Lamar Jackson and Burrow. This game has clear playoff implications.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh discusses status of OT Ronnie Stanley for Week 5 vs. Bengals

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh discussed the status of offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley for Week 5 vs. the Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens face a division opponent in the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football in Week 5 of the 2022 season. It’s an important game for the Ravens no matter how early it is in the season, as the team went 1-5 in their division in 2021 and have already lost two important conference games in 2022.

One key storyline for Sunday night’s matchup is the potential availability of offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley. Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh was asked how he felt about the possibility of Stanley making his season debut on Sunday, with the coach saying that he’s feeling good about it but the team will see where everything is at before game time.

“I’m feeling good, yes. We’ll see where we’re at. I’m not going to really comment on who’s playing and who’s not playing. We’ll be out there on Sunday. What time would it [inactives announcement] be? _(SVP of Communications Chad Steele: “6:50.”) 6:50, you’ll know.”

The offensive line could use the help of Stanley. The All-Pro is one of the best at his position both in the run game and the pass game, and would provide stability on quarterback Lamar Jackson’s blindside. Stanley has never played a full season in his career, but getting him back at full strength would be a huge plus as he hopes to finish out 2022 by playing in every game possible once he returns.

Ravens’ Week 17 snap counts vs. Bengals: Playoffs, here we come!

In the final game of the 2020 regular season, the Baltimore Ravens’ snap counts against the Bengals could point to who will star in playoffs

The Baltimore Ravens punched their ticket to the postseason on Sunday, as they thumped the Cincinnati Bengals 38-3 to improve to 11-5 on the season. The win ensured playoff football for the Ravens for the third season in a row.

Baltimore came into the game with a few injury concerns, with starters Patrick Mekari, Willie Snead, Yannick Ngakoue, and Jimmy Smith all inactive. But thankfully they emerged from the game without any additions to the injury list while coach John Harbaugh was optimistic some would return for the postseason.

Over the last few weeks, the Ravens’ offense has looked dangerous and reminiscent of the form it showed as they steamrolled the league a year ago. In combination with their stifling defense, the snap counts will tell quite a lot about which players the Ravens could lean on during the playoffs.

Let’s check out Baltimore’s offensive and defensive snap counts from Week 17.

Ravens reach several milestones in landslide Week 17 win

There were 14 team and individual landmarks within reach for the Baltimore Ravens coming into Week 17. How many were they able to achieve?

The Baltimore Ravens booked their ticket to the postseason on Sunday with a thumping victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The win gives the Ravens an 11-5 record and was enough for a third consecutive year in the postseason.

While all the attention was rightfully focused on Baltimore getting the win and securing the continuation of their season, there were other storylines at play as well. As we wrote prior to the game, there were 14 team, player, and coach records/milestones within shooting distance.

Here is a look at which of those records the Ravens managed to achieve this season.
