After landing four-star tight end Jack Pugh earlier this week the Badgers appear to be continuing their recruiting blitz, as a series of tweets yesterday point towards two new recruits joining the Badgers’ 2021 class.

These tweets came from Saeed Khalif, Wisconsin’s director of player personnel.

While who these players are is currently unknown, possibilities include four-star wide receiver Terrance Ferguson, four-star defensive end T.J. Bollers, five-star offensive tackle Nolan Rucci and three-star cornerback Ricardo Hallman.

Stay tuned for more news as the Badgers continue to build their already-impressive 2021 recruiting class.

Texas picks up crystal ball projection for four-star cornerback

Texas could be adding another blue-chip prospect. 247Sports has given a new 100% crystal ball prediction for cornerback Ishmael Ibraheem.

Already atop the Big 12 in the 2021 recruiting class, Texas could be adding another blue-chip prospect. 247Sports has given a new crystal ball prediction for Ishmael Ibraheem, having it 100% towards the Longhorns with a confidence level of eight out of 10.

Ibraheem is a top 200 recruit nationally on the 247Sports composite, ranking 171st overall. More importantly, he is considered a top player in the state of Texas, coming in at No. 28 overall. Judging him against other cornerbacks, he is only behind Latrell McCutchin in-state and No. 13 in the country.

Currently, there are no players projected to play in the secondary in the 2021 class. Ibraheem could start a domino effect with the Longhorns grabbing commits from other cornerbacks and possibly a safety.

If Ibraheem does commit, it would be another in-state pickup for Texas. The Longhorns currently have three of the top 10 in-state players, with the possibility of landing another one in Tommy Brockermeyer.

Success inside the state of Texas has been crucial to their recruiting under Tom Herman. Having the top class in the Big 12 for three consecutive seasons, the Longhorns are on their way to another successful recruiting season.

Four-star 2021 tight end Jack Pugh commits to Wisconsin

2021 four-star tight end and Ohio’s No. 6-ranked recruit Jack Pugh announced his commitment to Wisconsin today on his Twitter page.

The Hilliard, Ohio native chose the Badgers over Penn State, Michigan, Indiana and others after four 247Sports recruiting analysts predicted that to be the result.

The No. 6-ranked tight end in the country and again the No. 6-ranked player from the state of Ohio now joins Paul Chryst‘s 2021 recruiting class headlined by J.P. BenzschawelRiley MahlmanHunter WohlerBryan Sanborn and Antwan Roberts.

That class currently stands at 20th-best in the nation according to 247Sports, good for the best ranking Wisconsin has received in a long time.

Georgia football offers scholarship to Aaron Anderson

Saturday, Georgia football made its latest move in the 2022 recruiting class by offering a scholarship to WR Aaron Anderson.

Saturday, 2022 3-star WR Aaron Anderson announced on Twitter that he received a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia.

Anderson (5-10, 187) plays football and runs track at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a sophomore in 2019, Anderson helped Edna Karr to its fourth-straight Louisiana 4-A state championship.

247Sports has Anderson rated as the No. 53 WR and the No. 15 player in Louisiana. He holds eight scholarship offers from programs like Miami, LSU, USC, Kentucky and now Georgia.

More statistics and rankings will be available after these younger guys play their junior seasons this fall.

Georgia football: 5-star CB signee Kelee Ringo training with NFL’s best

On Saturday, Georgia football CB signee Kelee Ringo trained with 49ers CB Richard Sherman and Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf.

Perhaps the most notable prospect from Georgia’s 2020 No. 1 recruiting class is cornerback Kelee Ringo out of Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Ringo (6-2, 205) was rated as the No. 1 CB, No. 1 player in Arizona and the No. 4 player in the country in 2020. In his senior season, Ringo had 31 tackles, 4 TFL, 3 INTs, and even scored 13 touchdowns on offense.

On Saturday Ringo put his young talent to the test against some of the best players in the NFL in a training session with 49ers CB Richard Sherman, WR Josh Gordon and Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf.

We can only imagine how much information Sherman, Gordon and Metcalf were able to pass on to the young CB. If Ringo was able to cover Gordon and Metcalf, he should have no problem with SEC receivers. Other than maybe George Pickens in practice.

With Ringo’s combination of size, speed and a knack for the ball, he could possibly be one of the best Georgia defensive backs ever.

Jack Pugh, a four-star tight end in the class of 2021 and one of the Badgers’ top targets, tweeted yesterday that he will announce his commitment on Monday at 3 p.m. CST.

Pugh is Paul Chryst‘s top tight end target in the class and is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 6 overall tight end in his class and the No. 6 player from Ohio.

Other schools on Pugh’s list include Michigan, Penn State, Indiana and Cincinnati, though Steve Wiltfong‘s crystal ball prediction has the Ohio native committing to Wisconsin when the decision is announced on Monday.

If he were to join the Badgers he would enter a recruiting class that ranks No. 19 in the country and is headlined by four-star recruits J.P. BenzschawelRiley Mahlman and Hunter Wohler.

Four Crystal Ball predictions going against Texas

As well as UT has been recruiting these past years, they are not able to sign everyone. Here are four players predicted to commit elsewhere.

As well as Texas has been recruiting these past few years, the Longhorns are not able to sign everyone. There are plenty of schools from across the country interested in the talent pool here in the state of Texas.

Right now, the main competition for Texas’ prospects is Texas A&M and Oklahoma. Not only are they the Longhorns’ biggest rivals on the field, but the three schools are constantly recruiting the same guys year in and year out.

Currently, there are four big-time in-state players Texas is considered to be a top choice for. However, 247Sports’ crystal ball is predicting for them to pick elsewhere. To land their commitment, Tom Herman will have to make a late fall push and steal away from their rivals.

Here are the four players predicted to go against the Longhorns on 247Sports’ crystal ball:

Landen King rises in rankings, jumps over Texas A&M commit

247Sports updated their recruiting rankings today, with UT commit Landen King got a massive bump and jumping over a Texas A&M commit.

247Sports updated their recruiting rankings today, with players across the country rising and falling down the leaderboards. Texas players both benefitted and were hurt by the new rankings, but Longhorns commit Landen King got a massive bump.

The three-star prospect went up 14 spots among tight ends in the 2021 recruiting class, all the way to No. 23. He is now the 72nd ranked player in the state of Texas and 530th nationally.

King committed to Texas over schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Texas A&M. He announced his decision in late April, making him the seventh prospect to commit to the Longhorns in the 2021 class.

Not everyone was thrilled about King’s bump on 247Sports, as Texas A&M fans have taken notice. Once King committed to Texas, the Aggies took a commitment from three-star Fernando Garza out of Katy, Texas. In the updated standings, he went down three spots to the 27th ranked tight end in the country.

That did not sit well with Texas A&M fans.

David Allen was able to clear up the confusion, making sure everything was understood.

In all seriousness, these types of debates prove the Texas and Texas A&M rivalry is still well and truly alive. Not being able to play on the football field for eight seasons has taken a toll on fans and it must be taken out in recruiting.

Neither the Longhorns nor the Aggies seem as if they are going to budge in playing each other, with both Athletic Directors taking shots at each other in early May.

A matchup that desperately needs to come back, debating, fighting, and arguing over recruits rankings while implying the media favors Texas will have to do.

Notre Dame Recruit Tristan Bounds Uses Loophole to Visit Campus

Much has been made about how much Notre Dame has been hurt by its inability to recruit players during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Much has been made about how much Notre Dame has been hurt by its inability to recruit players during the COVID-19 outbreak. The university’s location puts it at a disadvantage. Still, that didn’t stop one recruit from stopping by campus anyway.

Tristan Bounds, a three-star offensive tackle who’s part of the 2021 recruiting class, has eight schools at the top of the list. The pandemic had prevented him from visiting four of them, including Notre Dame. But Bounds, the 39th-ranked offensive tackle in his class according to 247Sports, made the trek to campus Tuesday, one day after he visited Michigan. Though the dead period has been extended to June 30, a loophole allows recruits to visit colleges as long as they aren’t accompanied by or in contact with anyone affiliated with the football program during their trip.

Bounds, who measures at 6-foot-8 and 280 pounds, plays for Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut, still has to make visits to Boston College and Texas. So far, he also has set foot on Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland and Vanderbilt. It’s a lot of traveling, but nothing the student at a boarding school over 300 miles from his home in Bethesda, Maryland, can’t handle.

Jeff Quinn, the Irish’s offensive line coach, offered Bounds a scholarship May 1, the day Notre Dame was revealed to be on Bounds’ list. The Irish emerged as a late contender for his services. However, his visit to campus means they’re still in the hunt.

Four Crystal Ball predictions favoring Texas

Despite being ranked so highly already, UT is not done in the 2021 class. Here are the four players UT is predicted to land on Crystal Ball:

Currently the ninth-ranked class in the nation and the top-ranked class in the Big 12, the Longhorns have been hot on the recruiting trail. If their positioning remains the same, it would be Texas’ fourth consecutive year inside the top 10 nationally and atop the Big 12.

Despite being ranked so highly already, the Longhorns are not done for the 2021 class. As of now, Texas has been predicted to land at least four more recruits according to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball.

With two offensive and two defensive players, Tom Herman has been getting it done on both sides of the ball. Competing against the SEC and rivals such as Oklahoma and Texas A&M, the Longhorns are winning important battles in the state of Texas.

Here are the four players the Longhorns are predicted to land on 247Sports’ Crystal Ball:
