As well as Texas has been recruiting these past few years, the Longhorns are not able to sign everyone. There are plenty of schools from across the country interested in the talent pool here in the state of Texas.
Right now, the main competition for Texas’ prospects is Texas A&M and Oklahoma. Not only are they the Longhorns’ biggest rivals on the field, but the three schools are constantly recruiting the same guys year in and year out.
Currently, there are four big-time in-state players Texas is considered to be a top choice for. However, 247Sports’ crystal ball is predicting for them to pick elsewhere. To land their commitment, Tom Herman will have to make a late fall push and steal away from their rivals.
