The 15 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists for the Class of 2020

Troy Polamalu, Reggie Wayne and Edgerrin James head the 15 finalists for the modern-era Pro Football HOF Class of 2020.

The 15 Modern-Era Player Finalists will be considered for election to the Hall of Fame when the Hall’s Selection Committee meets on “Selection Saturday” in Miami the day before Super Bowl LIV. The full committee will elect five Modern-Era Players who must receive a minimum positive vote of 80 percent from the committee. The players will join 15 additional enshrinees to form the Class of 2020. A special Blue-Ribbon Panel will meet in early January to elect 10 Seniors (players who last played more than 25 years ago), three Contributors (an individual other than a player or coach) and two Coaches.

The odds would be considered Plus 25,000 meaning you would win $25,000 for every $100 you bet. Will simplifiy so people will know what the odds are to a dollar, but DraftKings numbers are based off an $100 bet. The reason why these team are so high is because it is deemed incredibly unlikely the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs or Seattle Seahawks would need a quarterback. Those teams all seem to be set at QB.

What does it mean? Could it be his way of saying goodbye to the fans at Gillette? Could it be a cool picture? What could it be? Let the speculation run rampant!

Ah, that’s the game plan. There have been plenty of reports where the G.O.A.T. could land, with the latest being in Tennessee, where former Patriot Mike Vrabel is head coach.

Thurman Thomas forgets his helmet

It was surprising when Kenneth Davis took the first handoff of that Super Bowl from Jim Kelly. Why? Because Thurman Thomas was the Bills’ main back. Meanwhile, the Bills’ equipment staff was searching for Thomas’ helmet. “I firmly believe that one of his teammates picked up Thurman’s helmet thinking it was theirs and walked to the other end of the bench and realized it wasn’t his helmet, put it down and then went to find his own,” said equipment manager Dave Hojnowski in 2011. Thomas’ helmet was found on the defensive side of the bench in time for Buffalo’s third offensive play.

A sportsbook is offering 100-1 odds if history repeats itself for Kyle Shanahan.

Kyle Shanahan has the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl Feb. 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, (Fl). That doesn’t mean the Niners’ coach is being allowed to forget his most recent experience in the big game, when the Atlanta Falcons coughed up a 28-3 lead in a 34-28 overtime loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI.

The Super Bowl is the land of prop bets and one sportsbook has attempted to sting Shanahan with one.

Shanahan is 100-1 to blow another 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl, PointsBet. Shanahan was the offensive coordinator for the Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

Bart Starr led the Packers to victory and was replaced late in the game by Zeke Bratkowski. Starr went 16-of-23 for 250 yards with a pair of TDs. Bratkowski’s only pass was an incompletion. On the Chiefs’ side, Len Dawson was 16-of-27 for 211 yards with a TD and a pick. Pete Beathard threw five passes with one completion for 17 yards.
