IV: Chiefs 23, Vikings 7
Len Dawson was at the controls for KC as it muzzled Minnesota. Dawson was 12-of-17 for 142 yards with a TD and pick. On the downside, the Vikings saw Joe Kapp go 16-of-25 for 183 yards with an interception. Gary Cuozzo, who was also a dentist, was 1-of-3 for 16 yards and a pick.
The first shotgun snap in Super Bowl history was taken by Chiefs QB Len Dawson in Super Bowl IV, seen below. It was the only shotgun snap in the first nine Super Bowls, per @ESPNStatsInfo. Just a little different than this season, when KC ran shotgun on 76.9% of their plays. pic.twitter.com/C51wr8YLYe
