In 2004 the Lions drafted one of the most decorated receivers in Texas Longhorns history. Williams still holds school records in career yards and career touchdowns. Jordan Shipley broke his record for career receptions in 2009. Williams had a career year in 2006, leading the NFL in receiving yards and earned his only Pro Bowl selection.

During the 2008 seasons, the Lions shipped him to Dallas who was in need of a receiver. Williams stayed in Dallas until 2010. Finished his career after one season in Chicago. Williams compiled 5,715 yards and 44 touchdowns on 393 receptions in his NFL career.

Marcus Tubbs: selected 23rd overall by the Seattle Seahawks

Marcus Tubbs wasn’t always a defensive lineman, when he came to Austin he started out as a tight end before making the switch. The Seattle Seahawks made him their first round selection. Tubbs had a short NFL career playing until 2006. He spent the 2007 season on the injured reserved list. During his three years of playing for Seattle, Tubbs recorded 60 tackles, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and one recovered.
