Brian Orakpo: selected 13th overall by the Washington Redskins

Orakpo had quite an end to his collegiate career in 2008. He was part of the National Championship team in 2005-06. As a senior he racked up the accolades:

  • Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year
  • Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year
  • Unanimous All-Amercan
  • Bronko Nagurski, Lombardi, Ted Hendricks and Bill Willis Trophy Winner

Orakpo spent his first five seasons in Washington before moving to the Titans in 2015. His final year ini the NFL came in 2018. During his career, Orakpo was named to the Pro Bowl four times and part of the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team. His career ended with 423 total tackles, 66 sacks, one interception and one defensive touchdown.
