Georgia Bulldog fans experienced yet another tough ending to the season. Most fans didn’t see LSU blowing out the Dawgs. In comparison, many Bulldog fans would’ve rather seen a heart-breaker. Georgia has a ways to go on the offensive side of the football.

Fortunately, for Georgia fans, the Bulldogs have a loaded class of 2020 coming in. Kirby Smart has stocked the team with incredible talent going forward. Georgia needs better off-season management heading into 2020.

Georgia five-star running back commitment Kendall Milton released his ridiculous high school highlights after his last career game:

Milton will look good in the red and black. He’s a special player with great balance, power, and vision.

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top four for Eric Reed Jr., who will be making his commitment soon. Reed Jr. has LSU, Auburn, Georgia, and Notre Dame in his top four schools.

Reed Jr. is four-star safety and plays high school at Calvary Baptist Academy. He is from Shreveport, Louisiana. He’s committing on the last day of the early signing period. I’d bet the SEC Championship Game will have a big impact on his decision. Georgia is currently considered the front-runner for Reed Jr.

He announced his top schools and his commitment time via Twitter:

Eric Reed Jr. is not to be confused current Carolina Panthers safety and former LSU Tigers safety Eric Reid. Reed may be the next great UGA safety. He may take the place of senior safety J.R. Reed, who is headed for the NFL after this season.

Junior safety Richard LeCounte may leave for the NFL as well, but his stock may drop after facing elite passing offenses to end the season. LeCounte must improve the angles he takes on certain plays, but has made numerous huge plays this season.

The four-star announced his commitment date today via Twitter:

Johnson’s top four schools are: Michigan, Iowa, Penn State and Georgia. Penn State is favored to land the Canadian.

Georgia can use another tight end with the inevitable departures of senior  Charlie Woerner and graduate transfer Eli Wolf. Georgia will have John FitzPatrick, a former four-star, next season. The Dawgs could still use more depth and play-making at the position.

Johnson has incredible size at 6’6″, 240 pounds and impressive athleticism. He has an excellent vertical:

It’d be excellent to see Johnson come to Athens. It’s a long way from home. If he decides to go elsewhere, then Georgia will look to add a five-star tight end out of Nevada.

Georgia loses commitment from speedy WR

Georgia football recruiting took a hit this week with the decommitment of a speedy wide receiver.

Georgia lost a commitment from a speedy wide receiver on Tuesday night.

Corey Wren, a three-star wide receiver in the class of 2020, tweeted that he would be re-opening his recruitment.

According to Jeff Sentell of DawgNation, Wren will no longer be considering the Bulldogs moving forward, saying it was a “situation he didn’t feel was right for him.”

Wren ranks as the 520th athlete in the class of 2020, 25th athlete and 23rd player in the state of Louisiana.

Wren originally committed to the University of Georgia over the summer, choosing the Bulldogs over Arizona State and Houston.

Georgia now has 15 commits in the class of 2020, including two four-star wide receivers Marcus Rosemy and Justin Robinson. Georgia will look to add a commitment from four-star Lakeland, Florida wide receiver Arian Smith, who ranks as the 75th overall player in the class of 2020.

The class currently ranks 5th in the nation and is highlighted by 5-stars outside linebacker Mekhail Sherman and offensive tackle Broderick Jones.

Has an official visit coming soon with the Bulldogs.

UGA 2020 commit Corey Wren re-opens recruitment

Georgia Bulldogs class of 2020 wide receiver commitment Corey Wren de-commits from UGA

Georgia Bulldogs class of 2020 wide receiver commitment Corey Wren has backed off of his commitment to UGA and is re-opening his recruitment. Wren is a three-star receiver from New Orleans, Louisiana and plays high school football at John Curtis High School.

Wren announced his de-commitment late last night via Twitter:

Wren is also considering Arizona State and Houston. Wren is a smaller receiver with excellent speed. At Arizona State or Houston he’d have a path to quicker playing time.

Wren’s de-commitment brings UGA’s class of 2020 down to only fifteen commitments. Georgia’s recruiting class continues to be ranked in the top-five, but the Dawgs need to land a few more targets before signing day.

Kirby Smart and company have bigger concerns than most coaches at this time of year. While most coaches around the country are sitting at home and recruiting, Kirby Smart, James Coley, and Dan Lanning are all hunkering down preparing for Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against the LSU Tigers.

Georgia basketball signs four 2020 recruits for incoming class

The Georgia basketball team signed four 2020 recruits for its incoming class this week

The Georgia men’s basketball program recently signed four 2020 prospects, after starting the season at 2-0.

Coach Crean and the Bulldogs host Georgia Tech on Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum, but have already inked four of their targeted recruits for next year’s team.

Mikal Starks, Jonathan Ned, Josh Taylor and KD Johnson signed with Georgia and will look to set the tone for the 2020 class, after one of the best finishes in school history in 2019.

Starks, a junior college three-star, is a native of Cocoa, Florida. The 6’0″, 180-pound point guard will bring added depth an already guard-heavy Georgia roster, which is expected to lose at least Crump and Edwards after this season.

Ned, a 6’9″, 200-pound teammate of Starks’ at Eastern Florida State, is also a three-star looking to reshape the Bulldog basketball program.

Meanwhile, Taylor is a four-star power forward out of Norcross, who signed with the Bulldogs over in-state rival Georgia Tech, Houston, LSU and more.

And last but not least, Johnson is a 6’1″, 170-pound point guard who chose Georgia over Auburn, Mississippi State and the Yellow Jackets from North Avenue. The Chatham, Virginia native comes in as a three-star, ranked No. 23 in the nation at his position.
