Four-star safety recruit Peyton Woodyard had been committed to the Georgia Bulldogs since January 2023. Now, Woodyard has flipped to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The four-star safety is the No. 6 player at his position and the No. 81 overall prospect in the class of 2024, per 247Sports. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back is the ninth-ranked recruit in California.

Peyton Woodyard, who is a member of the class of 2024, plays football for St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. St. John Bosco beat national powerhouse Mater Dei during the 2022 high school season to win a division title.

Kirby Smart and company have commitments from 26 players in the class of 2024. Georgia has the top ranked class of 2024 in the country. However, Georgia needs to add a few commitments at defensive back. Georgia recently lost a commitment from four-star safety Jaylen Heyward. Additionally, the Dawgs missed on five-star KJ Bolden.

Could Georgia sign four of the top safety recruits? Or would that be too crowded of a signing class? The Bulldogs could try playing KJ Bolden, who is a versatile athlete, at another position.

Woodyard is considered a four-star recruit. The elite safety is the No. 4 player at his position and the No. 69 overall prospect in the class of 2024. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back is the seventh-ranked recruit in California.

Peyton Woodyard will likely be recruiting other top uncommitted prospects while he visits Georgia on June 2-4.

Greene committed to the University of Georgia on Jan. 8 during the All-American Bowl on NBC. Greene signed with UGA during the early signing period, but did not make his decision public until now.

The St. John Bosco star is ranked as the No. 2 offensive guard in the class of 2022 and the No. 41 recruit overall. Earnest Greene has great size at 6-foot-4 and weighs 330 pounds.

Earnest Greene will look to make an early impact at UGA. The Bulldogs have a lot of offensive line talent, but Greene is capable of earning early playing time.

Michigan State got their quarterback for the 2022 recruiting class, welcome 4-star Katin Houser to the Spartan family:

Michigan State won a pivotal recruiting battle, earning the commitment of Katin Houser, a 4-star quarterback in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Houser had previously been committed to Boise State before flipping to the Spartans. He decommited from Boise State late on Thursday, June 24.

A native of Bellflower, California, Houser is the quarterback of the national high school football powerhouse St. John Bosco.

The Spartans coaching staff hosted the 4-star QB on an official visit this past weekend, laying out the red carpet and going the extra mile to pull of this flip.

Houser had been committed to Boise State since the first of April, but a strong recruiting effort in the month of June found the Spartans overtaking the Broncos for the top spot.

Michigan State’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jay Johnson sent out another offer Monday, this time to 2023 quarterback Pierce Clarkson.

Clarkson is a native of Bellflower, California, and plays his high school football at the powerhouse St. John Bosco.

Clarkson is not rated by any recruiting service, but he holds offers from several major programs. Michigan State is competing with Arizona, Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Wake Forest and Washington State so far.

Michigan State does not have any player committed in its 2023 class.
