MSU has sent an offer to a 2024 linebacker from Jacksonville

Michigan State has continued their stretch of offers to the linebacker position by offering Devin Smith, a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Lewis plays his high school football at Riverside High School.

Smith ranks as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, and holds additional power five offers from Georgia Tech, Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Michigan State football makes top-12 for 2025 legacy OL recruit

A popular legacy recruit in the 2025 class added Michigan State in his top 12:

Kaden Strayhorn’s father is known to almost all of Spartan nation. Jason is the color commentator on the radio broadcasts for MSU football, while also hosting the This is Sparta podcast, beloved by Spartan fans. Now, there is another Strayhorn for Spartans to monitor

Jason’s son, Kaden, is one of the top offensive line prospects in the nation, attending IMG Academy. He is a 4-star, ranking as the No. 380 overall player in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Michigan State was included alongside Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and USC.

Michigan State basketball to host 5 recruits against Ohio State

MSU will be hosting five big time recruits for its matchup with Ohio State on Sunday:

Michigan State is set to host Ohio State inside of the Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon for a big time Big Ten matchup.

While the matchup on the floor is imperative for the Spartans as they move into March, the Spartans will be making it a big day for recruiting as well.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, via X, Michigan State will be hosting five big time targets in the class of 2025 and class of 2026.

MSU football flips Kent State LB commit as PWO

MSU flips Kent State LB commit, getting him to pass up on a scholarship to come to MSU as a PWO

Michigan State was able to successfully complete a flip on the recruiting trail to start their Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans received a commitment from Carter Enyard, a linebacker from Kansas City (MO) who was previously committed to Kent State. He will be coming to MSU as a preferred walk-on.

Enyard ranks as a 3-star linebacker and possessed FBS offers from Kent State and UNLV. He is 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, possessing a lot of upside as a PWO candidate.

While just a PWO, Enyard joins Andrew Brinson, Austin Clay, Justin Denson, Makhi Frazier, Wyatt Hook, Charlton Luniewski, Mercer Luniewski, Nick Marsh, Alessio Milivojevic, Jaylen Thompson, Brand Tullis, Jadyn Walker and Keshawn Williams as members of the Spartans 2024 recruiting class.

2024 CB Andrew Brinson IV gets Michigan State football offer

The first offer of the Jonathan Smith era has been sent out to a 2024 cornerback from Tampa:

The first offer of the Jonathan Smith era has officially been sent out, going to Andrew Brinson IV, a Tampa (FL) native who was previously committed to Oregon State.

Brinson is a 6’0.5, 175 pound cornerback that attends Gaither High School. He is a three star prospect that holds additional power five offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, NC State, Purdue, UCF, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Expect this recruitment to take off and for Brinson to visit East Lansing very soon.

Twitter/X reacts to the commitment of MSU 4-star legacy Jase Richardson:

Michigan State earned a huge commitment in the 2024 recruiting class when they picked up the pledge of Jase Richardson, a top-30 player in the class. Richardson is the son of Michigan State legend Jason Richardson.

Richardson joins Jesse McCulloch and Kur Teng in Michigan State’s 2024 recruiting class.

As expected, Twitter/X was very excited about Richardson’s commitment to MSU, and not just because he is a legacy recruit of a Spartan basketball legend, but Richardson is a very heralded prospect in his own right.

An MSU 4-star WR commit is visiting Colorado this weekend

Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, has taken the college football world by storm after taking over Colorado and bringing a lot of excitement to the program. Now, it looks like he has his eyes set on poaching Michigan State 4-star wide receiver commit Nick Marsh.

247Sports reporter Allen Trieu is reporting that the Michigan State commit will be visiting Boulder this weekend for the Buffaloes game against USC.

Michigan State hockey lands 5-star, No. 1 prospect in 2007 birth year

Michigan State has landed a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 prospect in 2007 birth year, adding to a huge summer for Nightingale and the Spartans program

Adam Nightingale has had one outstanding summer recruiting for his hockey program in East Lansing. The Spartans are putting together one of the most nationally renowned classes for the 2007 birth year. The trend continued on Thursday.

Michigan State has picked up a commitment from Cullen Potter, who is set to play for the United States U17 National Development Program this upcoming season. He is the No. 1 ranked prospect in America according to Puck Preps and is universally considered a five star prospect.

Michigan State football picks up commitment from 2024 instate LB Jadyn Walker

Michigan State has picked up their newest 2024 commitment on Saturday. Instate LB Jadyn Walker has committed to MSU:

Michigan State has picked up their latest commitment in the 2024 recruiting class, this time dipping into their own state. MSU offered Jadyn Walker on his visit to East Lansing this weekend and he made the quick decision to jump on the offer and commit to the Spartans. Walker was previously committed to the University of Toledo.

Walker is a 6-foot-3, 205 pound linebacker from Portage, Michigan, attending Portage Northern High School. He got on the Spartans coaching staff’s radar after a great camp performance this past June.

Report: Michigan State football to get visit from 4-star defensive lineman

According to a report, Michigan State football will receive a visit from a 4-star Ohio defensive lineman:

Recruiting is an ongoing process and Michigan State still has a multitude of spots to fill in their 2024 recruiting class. Among those spots is several defensive lineman. One defensive lineman the Spartans are targeting is 4-star Dominic Kirks.

Kirks is a commit to Washington, who is from Painesville, Ohio, attending Riverside High School. There is no date for his visit but according to 247Sports’ Mick Walker, Kirks plans to visit MSU this fall.
