The Eagles released their initial injury report for Sunday’s game against the Giants, and Milton Williams was among three starters who did not practice. Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Jordan Mailata (hamstring) both sat out practice and could miss multiple weeks.

Star cornerback Darius Slay was a limited participant, along with Jalyx Hunt and Oren Burks.

In what could be a good sign for Philadelphia, Sydney Brown, Ainias Smith, and Albert Okweugbnam logged full practices.

For a long time, the strength of the Eagles’ 4-3 defense was the ability to constantly rotate defensive linemen to keep the defense fresh. Now Philadelphia will play a 3-4 defense, and the depth suggests there will be a lot less rotation. Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter and Milton Williams are a good set of starters, and it’s certainly possible the Eagles will play a lot of 2-4-5 nickel and need only two of those players at a time. Behind them are some question marks. Marlon Tuipulotu has proved himself to be a useful player in three NFL seasons. He had two sacks and 22 combined tackles last season. However, Moro Ojomo had just three tackles as a seventh-round rookie, and PJ Mustipher had just four tackles playing for the Saints.

Ojomo could benefit the most from Fletcher Cox’s departure, while veterans like Calais Campbell could be on the shortlist of late-summer additions.

According to Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press, Philadelphia Eagles Security Chiefs Dom DiSandro has been barred from being on the sidelines for rest of 2023 regular season

Dom DiSandro will remain a key figure for the Eagles on and off the field, but his role on the sidelines for games has been reduced for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season.

According to Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press, Philadelphia’s security chief will remain banned from being on the sidelines after a thorogh investigation by the league.

DiSandro will still be allowed to travel with the team to Seattle for its Monday night game and he can perform all other work duties but he is not permitted on the sideline,the Associated Press reports.

According to Ian Rapoport, DiSandro can return to the sidelines during the playoffs.
