Lincoln Riley signed three five-star wide receivers in the 2019 recruiting class, has another committed in the class of 2021 in Mario Williams and now has another in the 2022 recruiting class.

St. Louis, Missouri, native Luther Burden named a top-five of Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri and Oklahoma a couple week ago. The Sooners have been in more battles with the Buckeyes, Crimson Tide and Bulldogs as of late and have been winning more of those than they used to.

It was the case again last Friday as Burden made a commitment to Riley and Oklahoma.

He is considered the ninth best player in the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 1 overall receiver according to Rivals.

Burden becomes the second 2022 receiver to commit to the Sooners as four-star Jordan Hudson reserved his spot in the summer. Oklahoma also has four-star linebacker Kobie McKinzie already committed for the same class.
