49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk supported wife Kristin’s custom work for Taylor Swift in the sweetest way

Both Kristin’s custom work and Kyle’s pride were on display Saturday night for Dolphins-Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs made a big statement Saturday night, taking down the Miami Dolphins in sub-zero temps in the first round of the NFL playoffs. Taylor Swift was in attendance to support Travis Kelce, and the pop star donned a new, custom coat emblazoned with the tight end’s name and number.

There was a delightful NFL connection with the jacket being created by Kristin Juszczyk, the talented wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk. The proud husband made sure his spouse got her flowers, taking to social media to sing her praises.

Juszczyk replied to several accounts that shared the 12-time Grammy winner’s entrance to Arrowhead Stadium in the jacket and retweeted several more that complimented Kristin’s work.

We absolutely love to see the support.

There are moments in your career where you think to yourself… “Yeah, this is a moment to remember.” Two years ago, when the Associated Press asked me to be one of the analysts responsible for voting for the First- and Second-Team All-Pro teams, as well as NFL Most Valuable Player and all other individual awards, that was certainly such a moment for me.

So, this is my second year of voting, and I wanted to share my first-team ballot with our readers. It’s an honor I take incredibly seriously, and this process involves a ton of advanced metrics, tape study, and reflections from a season of diving into both.

Some of these votes were easy; some were incredibly difficult. But it will give you a bit of insight into what happens with an All-Pro vote.

The NFLPA announced the 2nd All-Pro team voted on by players. The #49ers are well-represented:

The NFL Players’ Association last year began announcing an All-Pro team that’s voted on by players. This offers a different perspective on the league’s best players than the one presented by the All-Pro teams voted on by media.

San Francisco is well-represented on the second-annual NFLPA All-Pro team with four players landing on the list. Dallas has the most representatives with five.

National reaction to Eagles’ Dom DiSandro being banned from sidelines for rest of regular season

According to Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press, Philadelphia Eagles Security Chiefs Dom DiSandro has been barred from being on the sidelines for rest of 2023 regular season

Dom DiSandro will remain a key figure for the Eagles on and off the field, but his role on the sidelines for games has been reduced for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season.

According to Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press, Philadelphia’s security chief will remain banned from being on the sidelines after a thorogh investigation by the league.

DiSandro will still be allowed to travel with the team to Seattle for its Monday night game and he can perform all other work duties but he is not permitted on the sideline,the Associated Press reports.

According to Ian Rapoport, DiSandro can return to the sidelines during the playoffs.

49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk a finalist for NFL sportsmanship award

Kyle Juszczyk is a finalist for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award for the 4th year in a row:

49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk was one of eight players named as a finalist for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.

This award is “presented each year to an NFL player who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition” per a release from the NFL.

Eagles’ security chief Dom DiSandro banned from sidelines during matchup vs. Cowboys

Eagles Security Chiefs Dom DiSandro has been barred from being on the sidelines for Philadelphia’s Week 14 matchp

The Eagles will face the Cowboys without key personnel, as security chief Dom DiSandro has been banned from the sidelines for the Week 14 showdown.

The NFL sent a memo to teams this week after a sideline incident involving the 49ers’ linebacker Dre Greenlaw and the Eagles’ head of security, Dom DiSandro.

“Please ensure that all members of your game-day staff understand that their role does not extend to being involved with game day altercations and that they must refrain from such involvement.”
An already intense game grew chippy after tensions escalated when Greenlaw tackled Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith after the whistle near the Philadelphia sideline.

The late hit drew a 15-yard penalty, and as players from both teams got involved in a mini-scuffle, Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro stepped in between Greenlaw and DeVonta Smith.

While separating the two, DiSandro touched Greenlaw, who took exception and shoved the Eagles’ security before things simmered down.

Greenlaw and DiSandro were ejected, and San Francisco would win 42-19.
