Brown will pick between Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Texas.

One of the top wide receiver prospects in the class of 2023 is ready to make his college decision. Five-star Jalen Brown is set to announce his future home on July 8.

The Florida product is one of the fastest players in the entire country. Brown uses the speed to take the top off the defense or prove dangerous in the short passing attack. He snagged 56 catches for 1,033 yards and 11 touchdowns during his junior season in high school.

Steve Sarkisian covets speedy pass-catchers in his offensive scheme. Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith and Xavier Worthy are all similar style players who have enjoyed recent success with Sark calling plays.

Brown will pick between Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Texas. 247Sports crystal ball projections have Brown staying home with Mario Cristobal and Miami.

Tennessee offers 2023 Florida wide receiver

The Vols are showing interest early in this 2023 product.

Tennessee has offered 2023 prospect Jalen Brown a scholarship, according to Brown’s Twitter account.

A sophomore at Gulliver Prep in Miami, Florida, Brown has added Tennessee as his third SEC offer.

247Sports rates Brown as a 4-star prospect, the No. 3 wideout in 2023 and No. 4 prospect in the state of Florida.

At 6-foot, 155 pounds, Brown holds offers from Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Penn State and other Power Five programs.

Brown lacks size, but his speed has attracted major college football interest. Brown returns kicks for his high school team, as well.

Tennessee does not yet have a prospect committed to its 2023 recruiting class.
