Top 2026 Florida quarterback has Notre Dame football in his top group

This would be a huge recruiting win for the Irish

With quarterback recruiting, it’s never too early to go after a top prospect and Notre Dame football is no different.

On Thursday, Florida 2026 quarterback [autotag]Noah Grubbs[/autotag] cut his list down to 10 schools, with the Irish making the cut. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 205-pound sign caller has an impressive offer list, as his top teams are among the best programs in the country.

At the current moment, Grubbs is not ranked, but that surely will change as soon as many of the recruiting services update the 2026 class. Regardless of ranking, the interest between the two parties is real and it is a realistic possibility that Notre Dame is in his recruitment until the end.

Currently, Notre Dame has just one commitment in the 2026 class, wide receiver Dylan Faison.

Former Ohio State commit puts Notre Dame in his top group

The Irish are squarely in the mix for the star receiver

As soon as [autotag]Jayvan Boggs[/autotag] decommitted from Ohio State, the connection to Notre Dame football began.

It was confirmed on Wednesday evening, as Boggs released his top 7 schools with the Irish making the cut along with Florida, Georgia, Missouri, UCF, USC and Texas. The 6-foot and 188-pound Florida native is viewed as one of the top players in the country, ranking as the No. 193 overall prospect and 23rd receiver according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Irish aren’t one of the few schools that Boggs has already set up official visits to, but if they are to receive one, he could eventually land in South Bend.

Notre Dame currently has 19 total commits in the 2025 class, with three other receivers commited in Jerome Bettis Jr., Elijah Burress and Shaun Terry.

Notre Dame football trending to for 2025 Texas wide receiver

The Irish could ultimately land the talented wide receiver

With not much room left in Notre Dame football’s 2025 recruiting class, they have to be very picky at which position and prospect they want to add.

Of the current 19 commits, the Irish have three current wide receivers in the fold and are looking like another one will join the trio. On Tuesday, two 247Sports Crystal Ball projections went in for Notre Dame to land 6-foot, 1-inch and 190-pound pass catcher [autotag]Tanook Hines[/autotag].

Both Tom Loy and Mike Roach have the nations No. 340 overall prospect and 48th receiver in the 247Sports Composite Rankings joining the Irish class eventually. Hines recently just visited South Bend, so the visit must have gone well.

If they are correct, Notre Dame will land one of the best wide receiver prospects in the 2025 class.

Oklahoma 4-star cornerback will officially visit Notre Dame football

The Irish will have a big official visit in June

Although there isn’t much room left in Notre Dame football 2025 recruiting class, the coaching staff is still setting up multiple official visits with top prospects.

[autotag]Trystan Haynes[/autotag], a 6-foot, 2-inch and 175-pound Oklahoma cornerback is one of those players that will make the trip North to South Bend as reported by 247Sports Tom Loy. The nations No. 151 overall prospect and 19th ranked cornerback by the 247Sports Composite Rankings will make his visit in the middle of June.

Currently, the Irish only have once commitment from another cornerback, Cree Thomas, although some of the safety commits could play the position as well.

You have to expect that the red carpet will be brought out for Haynes during his visit, especially considering the lack of current cornerback commits in the class.

Notre Dame QB commit Deuce Knight gets invite to prestigious camp

The Irish have a great quarterback in their 2025 class

For any high school quarterback, an invitation to the Elite 11 camp shows that you are one of the best in the country.

You can add Notre Dame football commit [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag] to that list, as on Sunday it was announced that the 6-foot, 5-inch and 195-pound lefty from Mississippi will be attending the camp.

Numerous alumni have gone on to have success at the next level and beyond, so it’s a very good sign that the Irish commit will be competing with the best in the country. Knight’s recruiting ranking backs up the invitation, as he’s ranked as the No. 6 quarterback and 67th overall prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The competition will be intense, and we fully expect Knight to put on a show during the camp.

Notre Dame makes fast-rising 2025 Kentucky defensive lineman’s top list

The Irish are still in it, but will need to make up some ground

Notre Dame football has done a great job recently of uncovering lower-ranked prospects and coaching them up to be contributors.

Offensive tackle Joe Alt is a perfect example of that, and 2025 Kentucky [autotag]Javeon Campbell[/autotag] could be next in line. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 265-pound defensive end is ranked as the No. 431 overall player and 48th at his position by the 247Sports Composite Rankings trimmed down his list on Monday.

The Irish made the cut, along with Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Ohio State, LSU, Kentucky and Georgia. It makes you wonder why Campbell is ranked so low with an offer list so impressive, so a re-ranking might happen in the future.

It does look like the Irish are playing catchup in Campbell’s recruitment however, as of the couple official visits he’s set up, none of them are to South Bend.

Could another Carr be on his way to Notre Dame?

Could a second Carr end up in South Bend?

Now that CJ Carr has enrolled at Notre Dame, his little brother will finally have his opportunity to show that he’s worthy of playing at that level as well.

Tommy Carr, a 2026 quarterback, has been waiting in the wing at Saline High School in Michigan, as his brother CJ led the team. The younger Carr could end up playing at the same level.

In a clip posted on social media, you can see that Tommy has the arm strength, and the size at 6-foot, 2-inches and 160-pounds to garner the same interest as his older brother. It’s very early in the process for him, but you have to believe that the Irish coaching staff is aware of the younger Carr.

Currently unranked and without any offers, Tommy will have the next two seasons to show the Irish and other schools that he is worthy of a scholarship offer.

Notre Dame gets a commitment from 2025 4-star linebacker

The Irish add onto its impressive 2025 recruiting class

Notre Dame football’s 2025 recruiting class just got stronger on Saturday afternoon as Pennsylvania linebacker Anthony Sacca committed to the Irish.

The 6-foot, 3-inch and 225-pound player picked Notre Dame over his other finalists in Ohio State, Alabama, Wisconsin and Duke. The Irish winning this recruiting battle over those schools is significant, especially considering the quality of recruiting opposition.

Sacca is one of the top players in the country, ranking as the No. 187 overall prospect and 25th linebacker according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is the second player in the Irish class at the position, joining Ko’o Kia, giving the Irish two solid linebackers.

4-star 2026 quarterback will visit Notre Dame early next week

The Irish will have the chance to impress the 4-star QB

Notre Dame already has its 2025 quarterback in Deuce Knight, but that isn’t stopping the Irish coach staff from looking ahead to the 2026 class.

Florida’s [autotag]Brady Hart[/autotag] will make more than a few visits after this week concludes, and the first stop will be in South Bend. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 180-pound quarterback is ranked by On3 as a 4-star prospect at this early juncture of his class.

Hart will also make stops to see Miami, North Carolina, Florida State and Florida. He’s had an Irish offer since last December, showing him that he’s a priority for Notre Dame. There’s more good news as well, as there is just one 247Sports Crystal Ball pick and it is for the Irish.

Notre Dame linebacker target will announce commitment on Saturday

It’s looking good for the Irish on Saturday to add to its 2025 class

It very much looks like Notre Dame football will be adding to its 2025 recruiting class on Saturday.

Pennsylvania linebacker Anthony Sacca, who was recently crystal balled to commit to the Irish, will make his verbal on Saturday. The 6-foot, 3-inch and 225-pound ‘backer is among the top players in the country, as he ranks as the No. 187 overall prospect and 25th linebacker according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Sacca will choose from five different schools: Ohio State, Alabama, Duke, Wisconsin and the Irish. Currently Notre Dame has just one commit at linebacker in his class, Ko’o Kia. The pair would make a formidable duo.

Although the crystal ball picks aren’t always accurate, it is a good that that most likely Notre Dame will land a commitment from Sacca on Saturday.
