2025 running back Bo Jackson includes Vols in top 12

2025 four-star running back Bo Jackson includes Tennessee football in top 12.

2025 running back prospect Bo Jackson announced his top 12 schools.

Tennessee, Rutgers, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Auburn, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon, Texas and Kentucky are Jackson’s top 12 schools.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound four-star running back prospect is from Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to Jackson on June 12, 2023. Kentucky was the first school to offer a scholarship to Jackson on May 11, 2022.

The Vols have seven commitments in its 2025 recruiting class: Quarterback George MacIntyre, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, tight end Jack Van Dorseiaer, cornerback Dylan Lewis, running back Justin Baker, wide receiver Joakim Dodson and cornerback Tyler Redmond.

Bo Jackson puts Oregon Ducks among final schools in recruitment

Bo Jackson has Oregon among the top schools in his recruitment.

The Oregon Ducks appear to be in the mix for one of the top running backs in the nation.

It’s not the Bo Jackson, the former Las Vegas Raider and Kansas City Royal who is widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes who ever lived. Instead, it is the four-star running back in the class of 2025.

Earlier this week, Jackson announced his top 12 schools, listing the Ducks alongside Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Michigan among others. According to the 247Sports crystal ball, the Buckeyes are favored to land Jackson.

According to 247Sports, Jackson is the No. 77 overall player in the 2025 class and the No. 3 running back. He has not visited Oregon, but we could see that change in the coming months.

Tony Alford target puts Michigan football in top 12 after UM appeared eliminated

Ohio State fans are gonna hate this! #GoBlue

Just when it seemed Michigan football was out, it got pulled back in.

The Wolverines didn’t appear to be in a very good position for 2025 Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph four-star running back Bo Jackson; there were all-but eliminated from contention. Then the maize and blue did something unexpected: They poached the running backs coach from Jackson’s perceived leader, Ohio State.

After Tony Alford landed in Ann Arbor, multiple top-tier backs who had essentially given up on Michigan gave the Wolverines a second look. Such appears to be the case with Jackson.

On Tuesday, Jackson released his top 12, and Michigan football made the cut.

Of course, in-state Ohio State still looms, and Kentucky also appears to be a top contender for his services. Jackson also is considering Rutgers, Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Penn State, West Virginia and Ole Miss.

Ranked the No. 66 player in the country according to 247Sports, Jackson does have a 247Sports crystal ball prediction indicating he’ll end up in Columbus. It was made by Bucknuts recruiting writer Bill Kurelic. However, that was made in January, long before his primary recruiter defected from the program to its chief rival.

Bo Jackson lists Kentucky in his final twelve schools

Running back Bo Jackson has Kentucky in his final 12 schools

The 2025 football recruiting class has a number of very good running backs who haven’t picked a school yet. One of them, Bo Jackson, has listed the Kentucky Wildcats in his final 12 schools.

The Kentucky football team is working hard on its 2025 recruiting class. They put together a top 25 class for 2024, and would love to do the same for the next year.

Jackson is a four-star player in next year’s class. He’s the 66th ranked overall player, and the fifth ranked running back, by 247sports. At 6’1″ and 210 lbs, he brings good size to wherever he goes.

Kentucky has some stiff competition for his services. Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan are just three of the other schools that made his final 12. Auburn, Tennessee, and Ole Miss are other SEC schools trying to reel him in.

The Wildcats originally offered Jackson back in 2022, and he attended a camp that year with Kentucky as well.

Ohio State is considered the favorite to land Jackson, but he’ll be making some visits, and minds change. If Kentucky could land him, it would be a huge addition to the 2025 class.

Bo Jackson appeared to have a hilarious reason for rejecting a fan’s selfie request at an Auburn game

You gotta be quicker than that.

If you’re an Auburn fan, chances are you can ask former legend Bo Jackson to take a picture with you. However, make sure it’s not when a game is about to start.

Bo Jackson is a big deal. The three-sport athlete earned several awards and records at Auburn University, including the Heisman Trophy in 1985. Jackson is also the only Auburn running back in school history to rush for over 4,000 yards. So, fans will want to take a photo with him if he shows up at any Auburn-related event.

That happened on Wednesday at a men’s basketball game against South Carolina. Bo was taking photos and chatting with several fans ahead of the matchup when one fan waited until right before the game was about to start to ask for a selfie. Bo was NOT having it.

Lip readers think the fan said, “Bo, can I take a selfie?” and Jackson responded, “No. Watch the game.”

Auburn football legend Terry Beasley passes away at age 73

Beasley was known as Pat Sullivan’s favorite target from 1969-71.

Auburn football announced Wednesday night that its all-time leading receiver has passed away.

Auburn fans learned late Wednesday that [autotag]Terry Beasley[/autotag], who was known as Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback [autotag]Pat Sullivan[/autotag]’s top target from 1969-1971, passed away at the age of 73.

Beasley is one of two receivers to ever record 1,000 receiving yards in a season at Auburn, doing so in 1970. He hauled in 52 passes for 1,051 yards and 11 touchdowns that season as Auburn finished the season with a 9-2 record.

His incredible 1970 season fueled the rest of his career, as he was able to haul in 141 passes for 2,507 yards and 29 touchdowns. His final collegiate numbers continue to be chased, as his total yards are 224 yards more than Auburn’s second-place receiver, [autotag]Tyrone Goodson[/autotag], and he remains the only Auburn receiver to reel in over 20 career touchdown passes.

Beasley’s No. 88 is one of three numbers retired by Auburn football, joining former teammate Pat Sullivan’s No. 7 and Heisman Trophy-winning running back [autotag]Bo Jackson[/autotag]’s No. 34.

Top five class of 2025 football recruits from Ohio

Top five class of 2025 football recruits from Ohio #GoBucks

The Ohio State football recruiting class of 2024 was a success and included eight elite players from the state of Ohio including future star cornerback, Aaron Scott from Holland, Ohio. Homegrown talent is a vital part of the lifeblood of the Ohio State football program and I wanted to take time to dive into the next class of Buckeye State stars.

When looking at the class of 2025, the Buckeyes look to be in great shape and have verbal commitments from two of the top five Ohio prospects and are the odds-on favorite for a third. In the day and age of name, image and likeness, following recruiting has become a bit more mundane with players flipping wildly due to the promise of cash.

But with the Buckeyes gaining momentum in that department they should be able to make that situation work for and not against them. Let’s examine the top five prospects for the class of 2025 in the state of Ohio.

Ohio State trending to add in-state 2025 running back

The best in Ohio, stay in Ohio…

Ohio State has long has one of the best Midwest states to recruit from, and that won’t be changing in the 2025 cycle.

The Buckeyes already have commitments from two in-state prospects and now it’s looking like another one is trending towards playing in Columbus. Cleveland running back [autotag]Bo Jackson[/autotag] was crystal balled to Ohio State by 247Sports Buckeye insider Bill Kurelic on Friday.

Jackson stands 6-foot, 1-inch and is 190-pounds, giving him great size for the position. He’s ranked as the No. 8 back in the country and 97th overall prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Ohio State has been recruiting him for a while, receiving an offer in June of last year, his second one he received.

The Buckeyes have six current commits in the 2025 class, but not one at running back. Jackson would give Ohio State one of the best prospects in the country at his position.

Oregon Ducks extend scholarship offer to Bo Jackson

The Oregon Ducks have extended a scholarship offer to Bo Jackson, a 4-star RB in the 2025 class.

There’s a headline that might grab your attention.

On Christmas Day, it was announced that the Oregon Ducks extended a scholarship offer to Bo Jackson, a four-star running back in the 2025 class. Jackson is rated by 247Sports as the No. 97 overall player in the 2025 class, and the No. 8 RB.

Jackson stands 6 feet, 205 pounds. Similar to the legendary Bo Jackson, he plays baseball and runs track in high school as well. Jackson ran a personal-best 11.13 seconds in the 100 meters last May. He also ran the 200 meters in 22.24 seconds.

It is still early in his recruitment, so Jackson has not narrowed his list of schools just yet, but he has offers from Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin.

This NFL rushing stat about Jim Harbaugh and Bo Jackson is blowing everyone’s minds

Seriously, this is wild.

I honestly don’t know where this came from, but it’s an absolutely stunning fact that’s going around social media this week.

If I were to ask you who had more rushing yards in their NFL career between Bo Jackson — a running back who might have been the greatest athlete of this or any generation — and quarterback Jim Harbaugh (remember, he was a decent player before he was head coach), who would you say?

Jackson, of course.

BUT YOU’D BE WRONG.

Harbaugh had a 14-year career with four teams and somehow ran for 2,787 yards despite having a career-high of 338 in 1991.

Jackson, sadly, had just four years in the NFL, with a career cut short by injuries. He ended up with just 2,782 yards.

SERIOUSLY!

And now your head is exploding too, isn’t it?
