The Chicago Bears released their list of inactives ahead of today’s game against the New Orleans Saints. While Chicago has been banged up this week, several key starters will in fact be playing in this key NFC match-up.

Outside linebacker Khalil Mack (ankle), safety Eddie Jackson (knee), receiver Allen Robinson (concussion) and receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (quad) are all active against the Saints.

Here’s a look at the players that won’t be suiting up for the Bears:

Bears Week 7 inactives: OLB Khalil Mack, CB Buster Skrine are active vs. Rams

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams, and it’s good news on the defensive front for the Bears.

After nursing a sore back for the last few days, outside linebacker Khalil Mack was questionable heading into Monday night’s game. But, rest assured, Mack was certainly not going to miss this primetime game, and he’s officially active for Chicago.

The Bears will also have cornerback Buster Skrine, who has been dealing with an ankle injury this week, available to them. But the Bears do have Duke Shelley listed as active, which means he’ll be available should there be any setbacks with Skrine.

Safety and special teams ace Sherrick McManis was already ruled out with a hamstring injury that he re-aggravated last week.

Other inactives for the Bears include left guard Arlington Hambright, running back Artavis Pierce, receiver Riley Ridley and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.

Panthers Week 6 inactives: WR Curtis Samuel ruled out vs. Bears

The Panthers have released their inactives list for today’s game at home against the Bears.

Here are the players who won’t be in the lineup.

QB Will Grier
WR Curtis Samuel
CB Eli Apple
G Dennis Daley
DT Woodrow Hamilton

Samuel being ruled out is a blow. However, the team will have wide receiver Keith Kirkwood available for the first time this season. He was activated off the injured reserve list yesterday.

They aren’t listed here, but both defensive tackle Kawann Short and defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos are now on IR. Short is out for the season and Gross-Matos can return in three weeks. Starting running back Christian McCaffrey remains sidelined with his high ankle sprain. Also, backup center Tyler Larsen was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list yesterday.

Chicago will be without the following players:

CB Duke Shelley
S Deon Bush
G Arlington Hambright

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Nose tackle John Jenkins returns to the line-up after being on injured reserve for three weeks with a thumb injury. He brings some much-needed depth to the defensive line, especially as they prepare to face a run game that’s found success.

Defensive end Brent Urban, who has been a key reserve for this team, will play after being questionable with a knee injury. Offensive lineman Sam Mustipher is active for the first time in his young NFL career.

Safety Deon Bush had previously been ruled out against the Panthers. Other inactives for the Bears include cornerback Duke Shelley, left guard Arlington Hambright, receiver Riley Ridley and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.

Week 5 inactives: Darnell Mooney active, Sherrick McManis out vs. Bucs

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Thursday Night Football showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Thursday Night Football showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The good news is the Bears will be with star rookie receiver Darnell Mooney, who was noted as questionable for the game with a shoulder injury. Mooney, who practiced all week, is officially active against the Bucs.

The bad news? The Bears will be without special teams ace Sherrick McManis, who was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury suffered a couple of weeks ago in Week 3.

Other inactives for the Bears include safety Deon Bush (hamstring), as well as offensive lineman Arlington Hambright, Nose tackle Daniel McCullers, receiver Riley Ridley and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.

The big news for the Bucs is that receiver Mike Evans, who didn’t practice this week with an ankle injury, is officially active for this game. Running back Leonard Fournette, who was doubtful for this game, is also active.

Week 4 Inactives: Bears S Sherrick McManis, QB Tyler Bray inactive vs. Colts

The Chicago Bears released their inactives for their Week 4 contest against the Indianapolis Colts, where there aren’t many surprises.

The Chicago Bears released their inactives for their Week 4 contest against the Indianapolis Colts, where there aren’t many surprises.

Defensive back and special teams ace Sherrick McManis won’t play after suffering a hamstring injury last Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, which is a huge loss for Chicago’s special teams.

After some crazy speculation following quarterback Tyler Bray’s promotion to the active roster, the practice squad QB is officially inactive against the Colts, which makes the move all the more puzzling.

Also inactive for the Bears are running back Artavis Pierce, receiver Riley Ridley, offensive lineman Arlington Hambright and nose tackle Daniel McCullers.

As for the Colts, former Bears tight end Trey Burton is active. Burton was activated off injured reserve this week after suffering a calf injury during training camp.

The Bears and Colts kick things off at 3:25 p.m. CT.

Bears Week 2 Inactives: Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn IN vs. Giants

The Bears have released their list of inactives ahead of today’s home opener against the Giants, and Robert Quinn will make his debut.

The Chicago Bears have released their list of inactives ahead of today’s home opener against the New York Giants.

As expected, the Bears pass rush will have its full complement of players with Khalil Mack (knee) and Robert Quinn (ankle) both active against the Giants. Following a so-so performance by the Bears pass rush in Week 1, we’ll see how the tandem of Mack and Quinn will get after Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

Among the players inactive is receiver Ted Ginn Jr., which comes as a surprise as he’s a healthy scratch. That means you should expect an expanded role from rookie receiver Darnell Mooney, who impressed in his debut game last Sunday.

Also inactive are cornerback Duke Shelley, offensive lineman Arlington Hambright, receiver Riley Ridley, outside linebacker Trevis Gipson and inside linebacker Josh Woods, who was previously ruled out for a personal reason.

Bears Week 17 Inactives: Rashaad Coward, Bobby Massie out vs. Vikings

The Bears have released their list of inactives ahead of today’s season finale against the Vikings, and there are no real surprises.

The Chicago Bears have released their list of inactives ahead of today’s season finale against the Minnesota Vikings.

There aren’t any real surprises. Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and nose tackle Eddie Goldman were previously ruled out, as was wide receiver Taylor Gabriel.

But cornerback Prince Amukamara, who was questionable ahead of today’s game, is officially active. Amukamara’s future in Chicago could be in question, but he figures to once again split reps with second-year cornerback Kevin Toliver, who could take his job next year.

Right guard Rashaad Coward was downgraded to out Saturday while right tackle Bobby Massie has been ruled out. With Coward and Massie both out, the Bears could get a good look at rookie offensive lineman Alex Bars, who figures to line up at right guard if he gets playing time. If not, Ted Larsen will get the start at right guard for the injured Coward.

Here’s a look at the full list of Bears inactives:

It was previously reported that the Vikings were expected to rest some of their starters, including quarterback Kirk Cousins. While Cousins is active, he figures to serve as Sean Mannion’s backup today.

The Bears and Vikings kick things off at noon CT on FOX.

Bears Week 16 Inactives: Prince Akumarka will play vs. Chiefs

Bears CB Prince Amukamara is active against the Chiefs and figures to split reps with second-year cornerback Kevin Toliver.

The Chicago Bears have released their list of inactives for tonight’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last night, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks was ruled out, as he nurses an elbow that landed him on injured reserve earlier this season. But they got good news about the status of another defensive starter in cornerback Prince Amukamara, who is officially active against the Chiefs.

Amukamara suffered a hamstring injury against the Detroit Lions in Week 13, and he’s been recovering ever since. He missed the following week against the Dallas Cowboys, and then he split reps with second-year cornerback Kevin Toliver in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers.

The Bears figure to split reps between Amukamara and Toliver tonight against the Chiefs.

The Bears and Chiefs kick things off at 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC.
