2023 4-star ATH Brayson Hubbard officially signs with Alabama

2023 four-star athlete Brayson Hubbard signed his national letter of intent to Alabama on Wednesday. He had been committed to Alabama since June.

Alabama brought in a true athlete on Wednesday. 2023 four-star Brayson Hubbard signed his national letter of intent to the Tide. Hubbard had been committed to the Tide since June.

Hubbard is the No. 334 overall recruit on the 247Sports composite. He is listed as 6 feet, 2 inches and 190 pounds.

The Mississippi native played quarterback at Ocean Springs High School during his senior season. However, he signed with the Tide to play safety. After showcasing his skills at the safety position during a summer camp, Hubbard received an offer from the Tide and committed soon after.

He is one of three safety commitments in Alabama’s class. He will join fellow signees Caleb Downs and Tony Mitchell in the Tide’s secondary.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Alabama football and the early signing period as more commits sign their national letters of intent.

Alabama Morning Drive: Tide receives a pair of Sunday commitments

Nick Saban and Alabama certainly had a good weekend.

Good Monday morning, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome back to Alabama Morning Drive! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. And what a massive recruiting weekend it turned out to be for [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The good news started on Sunday afternoon when three-star athlete [autotag]Brayson Hubbard[/autotag] announced his commitment to Alabama. If that wasn’t enough good news for Tide fans, later Sunday evening, five-star defensive back Tony Mitchell also made his verbal pledge to the Crimson Tide.

Hubbard is a talented prospect who plays quarterback for his high school team but will most likely transition to the defensive side of the ball in college and play safety.

Mitchell is an all-world safety prospect who just a couple of weeks ago was receiving a lot of buzz in favor of SEC rival Texas A&M. It appears as if coach Saban and the rest of the staff in Tuscaloosa showed everything they needed to in order to secure Mitchell’s commitment.

Both announcements were made on Twitter.

Let’s take a look at a few other stories that Alabama fans need to be following this morning.
