Power Ranking: Michigan football future NFL draft potential

Where we envision the current crop of Wolverines to be drafted as of today if not much changes between now and next year.

8. Nick Eubanks

Nick Eubanks hasn’t had his time to shine. Not yet, really.

He’s always been one of the guys in the tight ends room, and one of the most tantalizing. But he’s always split time with Sean McKeon and Zach Gentry. However, this year is his year. He’s the only cemented starter in the room. He has all the pass catching ability in the world, but he self-admittedly is still a work in progress on the blocking front.

Eubanks had 25 catches for 243 yards in 2019, and we expect those numbers to go way, way up. And it’s a big positive for him that he’s more of the prototypical TE in today’s NFL.

All he has to do is capitalize on it, and he could go much higher than our current prediction. He chose to come back for his fifth-year, and that’s logically and precisely why he made that decision.

Where we see him as of now?

Fourth-round, but again, another player who could go much higher than that if he does what we think he will do this season.
