14. Josh Ross
Josh Ross was Michigan’s fourth-leading tackler in 2018 as a reserve, technically playing behind Devin Gil, but seemingly getting more snaps. However, 2019 was a setback, as Ross was injured early and ended up redshirting for what should have been his first year in a starring role at MIKE.
However, McGrone has cemented himself in that position now, so Ross moves back to WILL, his position in 2018. If he can stay healthy, there’s a strong likelihood he could move way up, especially given how much the coaches rave about him. We saw it a little in 2018, but can he replicate and improve upon that in 2020?
Where we see him as of now?
Sixth-round, but could be a third-rounder with a productive season.
