Guard, 6-foot-7, 18 years old

After trading for D’Angelo Russell to join franchise cornerstone Karl-Anthony Towns, the Timberwolves could triple down on becoming an absolute offensive juggernaut by selecting LaMelo Ball. He and Russell could share the workload as primary ballhandlers, considering that they also are capable of playing off-ball as well. Ball would run a mean pick-and-roll with Towns, too.
