The many 2019 player disappointments for the Cardinals

There some bright spots, but there were nearly a dozen players who didn’t work out the way they were expected to.

Drafted in the second round, his speed and college production felt like a perfect fit in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. He didn’t get much playing time and finished with only nine receptions. Kingsbury repeatedly said he was not unhappy with his progress but fans expected more, especially when the receiver position had not been producing much.

He fell behind in training camp when he injured his knee and the team tried to teach him outside receiver and the slot. Kingsbury said he isn’t disappointed in Isabella, but outside of the organization, the belief is the team should have gotten more out of a second-round pick.
