The many 2019 player disappointments for the Cardinals

There some bright spots, but there were nearly a dozen players who didn’t work out the way they were expected to.

Disappointment has filled Reddick’s career because the team kept trying to make him an inside linebacker. He struggled, lost part of his playing time and then lost all his playing time to Joe Walker. The move to outside linebacker is a move to try and salvage something out of his career. He might not be back next season. He was supposed to take the next step, playing alongside Jordan Hicks, but he never developed any instincts for the position.
