Prediction

76ers 108, Rockets 104

Moneyline (ML)

The 76ERS (+165) enter amid their third three-game losing streak of the season, but they haven’t lost four in a row. They play their fourth and final game of a four-game road swing, having most recently lost 115-97 at the Indiana Pacers. They’ve dropped to just 7-11 on the road for the year. The Rockets (-200) have won just two of their last four games but both were at home, including a 130-104 win over the Denver Nuggets Tuesday.

This spot is about chasing the value, with the odds putting too heavy of an emphasis on the Sixers’ active losing streak. Both sides enter at nearly full health, and Philly has been the much better defensive club this season.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Sixers to win returns a profit of $16.50.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

Also back the SIXERS (+5.5, -129) on the spread where they’ll need to stay within 5 points in a loss or win outright. Two of their last three losses were by just single-point margins. They’ve lost by 6 or more points just seven times this season and will at least be able to keep it close in Texas.

Over/Under (O/U)

Houston is oddly just 15-19 against the Over/Under this year while Philadelphia is 18-17-1 against the point projections. Lean to the UNDER 222.5 (+105) with a plus-money return. The Rockets have fallen shy of this number in three of their last four games and the Sixers fell short in two of their last three.
