The many 2019 player disappointments for the Cardinals

There some bright spots, but there were nearly a dozen players who didn’t work out the way they were expected to.

Cardinals Training Camp

Gilbert had many days off in training camp and it was all part of a plan to keep him fresh for the season. Acquired for s sixth-round pick, the worry was his lack of durability in his career, despite being the most talented player on the Cardinals offensive line. He tore his ACL before the season opener. Justin Murray worked out all right but Gilbert was supposed to lock down the right side. He didn’t play a single snap.
